Can't launch Touhou 6 anymore

I've only played Touhou 6, only achieving the bad ending, but recently, while playing Moriyashrine's Touhou 6 again, my computer froze. After restarting, Touhou 6 would not launch again.

Launching th06 (thpatch-en).exe would load the community patcher for the game, then my screen would go black to change resolutions, and then the game window would appear for a second with a black screen, then close. I tried installing a fresh Touhou 6 from Moriyashrine, but the same thing would happen.

I would appreciate all advice!

I think applying d3d8to9 or DXVK might fix it? Trying to play in windowed mode might also work.

Similar happened to me, after reinstalling the game worked.
