best cover art you've seen?

[Buwako]

what was a box art (of any kind, movie, anime, album, video game, etc) that u saw and made u think "holy shit im buying this" or u just think looks really dang good?

Halo Wars had a pretty good cover.

Put the Spartans front and center with a whole armada behind them. It makes it pretty clear that you'll be commanding an army in this one versus the mainline games focusing on just Master Chief. Really inspires a sense of a grand scale.

I think that Total War Shogun 2 has a pretty great cover if you are including digital covers. I think it does the best job of showing a collection of the important units of all the Total War games and just has a really cool looking Samurai.

Honestly put a guy in cool armor with an army behind them and I'm probably sold on your product. Love this kind of cover art.

For me it definitely was "Diablo III: Reaper of Souls".
It just has this look to it that makes it feel special

I'd say lycoris recoil, cover art is just as great as the anime itself

Well, I'd have probably seen even better ones before (I wouldn't be able to remember for the current time though), but the album cover for Taishi's AD: PIANO VI -Punishment- looks beautiful to me.
I like the enigmaticness of the three characters on it.
