Well, I've seen dozens of girl fans of Touhou online.Hi everyone again. Are there any female Touhou fans? Girls, if you're here, please drop a line...
Who are your favorite characters?
Favorite parts?
Do you actually exist?
Hmm. Could be that you just haven't stumbled across them yet.I either saw no female individual in the fanbase, except for the arrangement makers, and perhaps except for people who i dont know that are women
There's probably also a lot more girls who are into Touhou, but might not just say they are.Hmm. Could be that you just haven't stumbled across them yet.
Well, there are also a lot of female Touhou arrangers who seem to be genuine fans of the series.
On the website Planet Minecraft, there's a user by the name of Roxichu who makes Touhou skins who is a girl (she can be pretty weird, though).
Ah, another one is the famous ScarletFlameFlandre. As far as I can tell, it's been confirmed that she's a girl, and she was uploading Touhou stuff probably before some of the people on this site were even born.
Huh. Didn't expect you to be a girl (no offense though).im a girl, and i exist very much
my favorite character is reisen and by parts, do you mean the games? if so that would be th08.
im actually kinda surprised how unbalanced the ratio of male:female there is in the touhou community. i guess it makes sense that there would be more males in the fanbase since touhou's roster is almost all female but i feel like that would also attract some female audiences too. maybe i should later ask about this on a community post.
im a girl, and i exist very much
Sorry bro, don't think you're going to find much here or anywhere else. If you're looking to pick up chicks, then maybe try Blue Archive or some other niche fandom with more people in it.Hi everyone again. Are there any female Touhou fans? Girls, if you're here, please drop a line...

So is picking up Touhou characters not an option?Sorry bro, don't think you're going to find much here or anywhere else. If you're looking to pick up chicks, then maybe try Blue Archive or some other niche fandom with more people in it.
im gonna be the next phantasm boss zun said soAnd if they do exist, they've all been gapped away to become future 2hu characters.
If his idea was to pick up chicks he started with the worst opener ever, it'd already be over from there on.Sorry bro, don't think you're going to find much here or anywhere else. If you're looking to pick up chicks, then maybe try Blue Archive or some other niche fandom with more people in it.
Hey, you've met a future Touhou Phantasm boss, so it's all good, isn't it?I just went to touhou community and they said "sorry we have no women" </3 this is why I will never visit touhou community again...

Yeah. Yukari, Okina, and Meiling kidnapped them.they're all in Japan or China
? What similarities and differences there are between male and female Touhou fans?Internet Footprint, everyone
I'm no better. While I wouldn't be the one to ask this question out loud (for a reason dawg), there are definitely girls into Touhou. However, there's something maybe @Buwako or @BrokenSubconscious could answer to help the question. What makes Touhou attractive to a girl? Men like Touhou for many reasons but, what differs for the fellow girlies? What similarities and differences there are between male and female Touhou fans?
This is a bit off-topic, but it'd be impossible for me to see Touhou characters as "waifus". Just seems stupid to me to see them in that way.well, the thing is, most reasons people like touhou dont necessarily have anything to do with gender. its not really a "male" or "female" thing to like it for the music, or the lore, or even the gameplay. although i think the main reason there are more male than female fans has to do with "waifus".
as we all know, touhou mostly consists of girls. and since the whole "waifu" epidemic is male dominated, and since touhou has almost 200 characters that are girls, sounds like paradise for people who are into the waifu thing. of course this doesnt mean there arent females who also like having waifus, but with waifu culture being mostly a male audience touhou attracts those kinds of people.
so i dont really think that male and female touhou fans are that different. we all like touhou for the same reasons, but for some there might be a few additional ones other than something like the games or music.
