Wow, I've usually seen problems caused by DirectX 8, not 9. I think you might be able to fix that by using the DirectX Web Installer, which is on the Microsoft site. If your device supports Vulkan, using DXVK might also be able to make it work.
I looked HackTool:Win32/Patcher up. On the Microsoft site, the summary about it said "This family of hacktools are used to patch or "crack" some software so it will run without a valid license or genuine product key. We recommend you don't run this hacktool as it can be associated with malware...
Yep! It's on itch.io
Was it from the Virustotal scan or your own antivirus? If it was from Virustotal, and if it was only flagged by a few obscure antiviruses, it's probably a false positive. If it contains a patcher (like English patcher), that might be what likely flags it. I'm not sure, but...
I personally would recommend starting either with Touhou 6 or 7. Touhou 6 is the first installment to the Windows era (the series underwent a soft-reboot), but Touhou 7 is easier. Sidenote: There are also official manga and the music CDs you could read for lore, and the Touhouwiki also exists (I...
Cool! Now I know it very likely is a DirectX issue, thanks!
If you'd prefer to play Touhou in fullscreen, to use DXVK or d3d8to9, I think you just need to download them and put the d3d8.dll into the Touhou folder (where the executable is).
I'll be honest, I wish to know. I'm thinking of a DirectX issue, but I can't say for sure. I assume it happens even after restarting your PC? You could try using DXVK or d3d8to9 for the game and see if that fixes it.
I forgor. But based on information I acquired from other Touhou games, that might have to do with fullscreening the game (the window looks similar), and the checkmark might be "ask every time." But I don't even see a resolution choice, so maybe not. You could install Japanese fonts on your...
Wow, it's cool! I like the artstyle - how some lines are more faint than others. Does it mean something? Just looks good? Or is it perhaps a secret up for interpretation/imagination lol
Took a while to respond, but when I first saw it, I thought something like "Holy heck, the coloring is really good, and the art too." I was a bit amazed lol, and I still like the drawing.
I had been summoned; this was the first post that made me make an account.
It is I, the Linux user lol
As Setsuwa has stated before/above me, you can use ProtonDB to check the compatibility with your Steam games. There's also areweanticheatyet, and you could also try searching up the game +...
