Important Bugs
The following bugs can be fixed by using the patches made by Sanoi at the following link: https://gamebanana.com/mods/656691
The game freezes during the intro scene at the beginning of the Main Scenario. This can be fixed by going to the Options menu and setting the BGM to Off. (Don't worry, once you get to a point where you can Save your game, you can go turn it back on.)
The game softlocks after Match 3 of the Main Scenario, so included in the file is a Save for the beginning of Match 4, so that your progress isn't halted.
(These are the only gamebreaking bugs to the casual player.)
Description
Touhou Soccer Moushuuden (東方サッカー猛蹴伝) is a Touhou Project fangame that's a stand-alone expansion to Touhou Soccer that adds various new features to the original game. It includes the original game's Main Scenario mode, and adds sub-scenarios for a number of characters in which you can unlock new moves. It also features Travel Mode, a 25-game mode focused on building your own team by buying players and items; and All-Star Mode, where you can play exhibition matches against the AI or other players.
The game operates similarly to the Captain Tsubasa series, with time progressing based on actions rather than a real-time clock. Matches typically consist of two halves of 30 in-game minutes.
Additional Resources:
The CSV for the game's data is included in the files. (Some of it is clunky, but if you're playing casually and don't have much interest in the game's internal workings, I recommend ignoring this.)
English PDF Guide by EonLeader: https ://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByAWSeZi0QSgaFBxNnBVWGlfMkU/view?resourcekey=0-k619dens1ZwSL4reBN5R0w
(Link auto-embeds so I have to break it up-)
(This is a very good guide to the game and how to unlock and explain certain things in it that the game doesn't really tell you about. The move data near the end has a small number of errors, but it's overall very reliable.)
Japanese Wiki: https://w.atwiki.jp/thsmwiki/
(This is the one I've used the least, but also contains details on certain characters that I never saw anywhere else. Useful if this game becomes a hyperfixation.)
namuWiki: https://en.namu.wiki/w/동방 사커
(I believe this one is in Korean, but machine translated to English. It has the most data about certain formulas for the game, as well as most things in the PDF, but as a result of the translation, it's difficult to read the specific details.)
