About
Desperation of Alcoholic Dream is a 2D doujin top-down brawler fangame for Touhou series.
Each of the 6 stages are short levels consisting of a room(s) filled with enemies which you can defeat to heal or gain spellcards; After that you'll meet either a boss or mini-boss, between which you get a similar room with enemies.
However, stages gain puzzles as you progress further.
Suika wakes up with a headache from a drinking contest with Yuugi;
Just as Suika was preparing to do Reimu's errands, she found her gourd missing.
Believing that she got her gourd stolen, Suika embarks on a journey to find it.
Key Features:
- Complex mechanics! The game has a combo system that applies various buffs and debuffs depending on who's sphere reached the top of a combo bar. (Blue for Suika, Purple for enemies)
- Difficult bosses! Some of the bosses have immunities to certain attacks and/or have unique movement patterns. (Doesn't save from the fact that attacks have janky hitboxes and wooden movement)
- Wide arsenal of moves! Suika can do melee attacks, use a special move, defend, sprint, graze, use a spellcard and Last Spell, latter being an ult when purple bar is full.
