Still do consider this to be among my favorite Touhou title themes. It just sounds so eeriely surreal and bizarre.
It's the perfect encapsulation of a surreal summer landscape. Something that looks relatively normal on the surface, but begins to look more and more "uncanny" the longer you look at it.
Rare and good Touhou French vocal!
I've been listening to this song while studying about the French Revolution, and if I may go on a small tangent here and state my utter terror about the French Revolution.
Good Lord, a lot of the stuff the French Revolutionaries did was basically horror incarnate. Especially with how incomprehensibly paranoid and brutal many of them had gotten. Some of the stuff they did I feel rivals even the terrors of what Germany and Imperial Japan did during WWII...
Anyway, regardless, I still think this song is very good. It certainly is very melancholic though (but, I tend to like melancholic songs). Probably one of the most melancholic Touhou arrangements I've ever come across.
Very melancholic and creepy. Not to mention beautiful.
Lullaby of Deserted Hell still remains among my favorite Touhou themes, and arrangements especially show the beauty of its melody.
Another good German Touhou song.
This is actually two songs (as evidenced by the title). This song reminds me a bit of Bavaria (one of the states of Germany) for some reason.
One of my favorite German Touhou songs. Milkychan (the person who made this) has a lot of good Touhou songs, but unfortunately she hasn't made a new one in a few years.
World's End is among my absolute favorite PC-98 Touhou themes, and Fires of Hokkai is among my favorite themes from UFO, so this arrangement combining both is a blessing!
Hachimitsu-Lemon seriously has some of the best Touhou trance! This one is among my favorites by them alongside Silver Blaze, Red Ribbon, Innocent Future, Close to You, and Stardust Ensemble.
I think this is one of the most impressive Touhou theme piano arrangements out there. Just so beautiful and dramatic. The Concealed Four Seasons has got to be my favorite theme in HSiFS and maybe even among my favorite Touhou final boss themes. And that's saying something, considering just about every Touhou final boss theme are among my favorite Touhou themes. But, The Concealed Four Seasons just has such a mysterious and breathtaking melody which fits Okina perfectly.
Overall, the fact that this arrangement incorporates the themes of the Touhou final bosses makes this piece so much more amazing.
