Decided to follow because of that! (And because of you having the most messages!)
Purchased a music album through Amazon for the first time in years, and was reminded of why I switched over to iTunes. The mobile app UI has just gotten worse, every change designed to pressure you into "Music Unlimited" (or whatever they're calling it now). Granted conforming the iTunes's file output to my standards takes more work, but at least I can find what I want to listen to when out and about without digging up hidden submenus and having to navigate my entire library.
Bandcamp continues to win over both.
Recently found out about Suno, and more specifically that some "remixes" I'd been enjoying were faked. For some reason I hadn't deduced the inevitable development of such a thing, however obvious it seems in hindsight. Since the realization, I've developed an unfortunate degree of paranoia in my musical explorations; some signs are easy enough to catch, but I don't trust myself to catch everything, nor do I want to incorrectly assume such deception in a given instance. Just as well to be aware, but it's rather discouraging.
Just typed out the whole OGM feature for today, was clicking through tabs to paste the links, and accidentally closed the forum tab, deleting the whole thing. I'm too mad to redo it right now, so it'll have to wait till tomorrow.

Still going through older posts, and I discover . . . Did I somehow forget to feature a "Decoration Battle" remix? I apparently went from "Selene's Light" straight to "Break the Sabbath." Not sure how I dropped the ball on that one, but I'll have to make up for it later.
Going through the thread to fix the old links is a nostalgic process; recalling the lost context of certain posts, both on and off the Shrine. On the other hand, sometimes the corruptions have been pretty funny:

So . . . the forum is once again active, albeit in altered form and quite a bit to figure out concerning functionality. My usual activities will be on pause while I determine the best course going forward. A lot was lost, and not all of it is replaceable without a more exacting record to reference from.
THE "THUMBS-UP" REACTION HAS RETURNED!!
Seriously this used to be my favorite reaction before the system was renovated and it was technically replaced with the "thinking" reaction, which had previously been requested as well. I'm genuinely ecstatic to have both now!

Reading through the old tournament commentary (for the memories), came across this review from me of four years ago:
I was wrong; I ended up remembering this very well, and listen to it consistently. I wasn't especially familiar with "At the End of Spring" at the time, and looking back this particular arrangement was much more noteworthy than I could appreciate then. It's funny what does and doesn't change with time, and fascinating to reflect upon what heralds the things that do change.
It's been so refreshing reading the finally visible bios on other profiles and being reassured I wasn't the only one to have one or believe it was already visible.
How did I earn the "Dedicated" badge? I'm never here on Sunday . . . Heh. ?
