I was thinking about how the Touhou cast could handle an invasion by the Strogg.
Since their ships travel through black holes, I would think it's possible for one to appear within the barrier and usher in an invasion fleet.
The human village might not last long, but the youkai and more powerful humans would be more likely to withstand a surprise attack. The Lunar Capital would be on par with the Strogg since Lunarians are more technologically literate than most of Gensokyo's denizens.
Gensokyo would successfully fend off the Strogg invasion, but not without some serious damage.
Invading Stroggos would be another story since none of the cast has any military experience.
The moon rabbits were soldiers, but strictly remained on the defensive. They hadn't seen any action for quite a long time.
It would be a dangerous way to shake off the rust.
Not to mention that space travel has always been limited to Gensokyo and the moon.
The Touhou cast would have to commandeer a ship to travel through the black hole.
If the the logistics could be sorted out, then the Strogg would be annihilated quickly.
