Many people don't like the prequels, but I feel that they seem like they have better writing than the originals. Eh. Just my opinion. Love Star Wars nearly as a whole (except for the Rise of Skywalker). It's at least distantly responsible for one of the many reasons for me getting into Touhou.

I've never understood why people don't like the prequels.
Both original and prequel trilogies are phenomenal in my opinion. Rogue One and the Force Awakens were ok as standalone movies.
The other two movies and some of the shows that came after were awful.
Although, I do love both versions of the Clone Wars.

The Force Awakens by itself was pretty good to me and had a lot of potential. The Last Jedi too. But they threw too much of the long-established Star Wars lore out the window and gave Rey too little character. Rogue One is pretty good, but they left out the crucial part about the Bothans having played a huge role in getting the Death Star plans. Regardless, I do agree with the fact that both versions of the Clone Wars were very good. But to me, Star Wars Rebels was also very good, mainly because I loved Rebels' connections to the mystical side of the Force and the familial bond of the main characters. I also just have a lot of nostalgia for it. Though that nostalgia also draws heavily with both Clone Wars series and really Star Wars as a whole as well. If it wasn't for Star Wars, I doubt I would've gotten so big into storytelling/making in the first place.
It'd be extremely hard to underestimate how influential Star Wars was for me personally growing up.
Same here, although the same could be said for many a fan who grew up with it to some capacity.
Few are the people who could say their creations transcend generations and inspire others to create in turn.
It's also inspired me to collect as many legends books and old comics as I can.
