favorite literary works?

I think I would choose Touhou Suzunaan because I really like the Mamizou and Kosuzu pairing.

By the way, Mamizou appears frequently in Touhou's official publications, but that doesn't affect her low popularity at all.

I've not read any of the literature yet with trying to 1CC the games, but I almost did buy a copy of the first Silent Sinner in Blue the last time I was in Tokyo. I'd say either that, or Wild and Horned Hermit would be my first read.

Probably either sangetsusei or silent sinner in blue.
Sangetsusei because it has the same feel of a relaxing but still entertaining slice of life CGDCT kind of thing, while being the perfect prelude and introduction to the characters before playing Touhou 12.3, which is one of the funnest games because of its unique mechanics and spin on the photography games' paradigm, I think the fact that there's a direct videogame experience injected into the storyline makes it excel beyond the other print works and be way more unforgettable.
Silent Sinner in Blue because it's the only touhou manga that feels like quality > quantity, it's like a well-crafted tight movie whereas most other touhou mangas are like tv shows with lots of unimportant fluff in them.

To me is Wild and Horned Hermit.
Is a very funny manga that it always catches your attention and makes you read it for long time even if it is a Slice of life.
To me, WaHH is so good that it does what Sangetsusei doesn't.
In comparison to Sangetsusei, WaHH is more eye catching and striking. And I think that's because the main protagonists of WaHH are more interesting and better as characters, which keeps your attention more focused in them and their tomfoolery than those of the three fairies of Light, reason why I haven't read sangestsusei a lot lol.

Lotus Eaters has some good chapters too (though it beginning is soooo weak, and miyoi is just so boring).

Yeah Silent sinner in blue is still one of ZUN best works and I still don't get why this fandom disliked that Manga too much in the past lol.
Especially its atmosphere, is just so well made, haunting and beautiful.
