touhou on Mac?

[incessantAlchemist]

hi! i've been meaning to get into the touhou series for a while now, and recently downloaded Wine Emulator to run it. couple days ago, i downloaded EoSD and tried to launch it. i was greeted with a gibberish error message; the page i downloaded EoSD from said to use Locale Emulator if that occurred. however, i'm on Mac and can't run it... any thoughts?

If your Mac can't run 32-bit programs, I think you also need to use WoW64 mode with Wine. But also try to run Touhou in windowed mode, because I heard that fixed it for another Mac user (I don't know if they edited the game's config or something in Wine lol, probably game). For changing Locale, this might help, but I haven't tried it myself. https://forum.winehq.org/viewtopic.php?t=28978 . If you're using a custom program for using Wine though, there might be a "Language" or "Locale" setting somewhere.
