Investigation: How long is Reimu's gohei?

[Akos]

I need answers people. How long is her gohei? Is it a telescopic one that you can change easily? From some images, it must be about 25-30cm long, on some it's about 175-180cms.

Perhaps the medium value of all the lengths is the true length? WE NEED TO SOLVE THIS!

As long as it needs to be.

it depends on how serious the situation in gensokyo. anyways i once made her fw gohei at one point

Possibly the best explanation there is. For reference, the Sanae's gohei is relatively small, it's about 30-35cms, but it has a different design. So in universe, a gohei can be normal sized.

What do you mean by "fw gohei"?

Oh yeah, that's a long ass gohei. If this trend continues, Reimu will qualify for the shaolin stick fighter crew.

she's the japanese equivalence of sun wukong, she can make her gohei whatever length she wants

Wouldn't that require for her to convert to daoism?
