Interesting, it works on my end (though I'm on Linux). Maybe you could try launching the game in XP or 7 compatibility mode? If that won't work, MAYBE DXVK, or emulating Japanese locale.

no im missing literally all the textures so if someone can send me the texture folder it would be helpful cuz i cant run the game without textures

Alright, at that point, I think it might be better to redownload the entire game. The textures are 1.8GB in a 7-zip archive, while with the rest of the files it's 2.11GB. There is a chance that maybe you're missing something besides the textures that you're not aware of, so if you only download the textures and issues will still persist, then you'd have to download something again.

Thanks for this but it didn't completely fix it, I'm still getting the same error which is saying "texture\(filename).dds" not found, there were stuff in the resources folder that was missing and which the file you gave did provide but I'm still getting this dds file error and I don't even know what a dds file is

Nah, it's alright, I wouldn't help out if I didn't wanna so much. I did a quick search, and it seems .dds files are related to DirectX. Either try applying DXVK to the game, or maybe reinstalling your DirectX runtime, I'm hoping for those to fix it, but can't guarantee. Well my laptop is from 2007 so the GPU IS old but it still Runs games like Street Fighter 4 and Sonic Generations perfectly so I should be fine with sky arena, imma try reinstalling my directx and I'll lyk if it works

Alr! DXVK unfortunately won't work, but DirectX reinstall might. Though do note, Matsuri Climax was kinda hybrid-released in 2016 (Matsuri Climax is made by combining Touhou Sky Arena with -Kurenai- 1.54 (or 1.51?) or higher, according to Touhou wiki), so just maybe, your laptop might be too old. There's still the possibility of the error existing for other reasons, though. Maybe you're still missing some files, for some reason.

I 100% am missing files cuz I just realized that I have no form of config files, not even a TSAconfig.exe, I noticed that whennmy friend sent me a picture of his game files, and I still get the DDS error too
There also seems to be no texture folder, like the error says

I don't know why you're missing files. Do you have anything that maybe could have interfered with your download? Maybe a download manager or something? Maybe you could try using a different browser, or a VPN? I'm sure that the upload is correct.
