Tbf I never played any pokemon games.

I mean, if I had to pick between the anime, console games, or mobile, then I'm all games. The anime is nice, but definitely ran too long for my interests. Aside from that, if you ever want to give the game a try I'll be your friend! My friend code is below!

Well, technically, the Adventures manga series is A+ material in terms of art, humor, and plot. The games, for the most part, have interesting plots, strategies, and more playable factors that I enjoy. Especially Legends Arceus!

The anime, to me, just repeated the same formula of "Ash wins a lot, loses big, goes to a new league, and repeat" until the last two series where they finally change things up just to make way for the next generation of characters to grow and love. Just a bit too late for my liking to keep me a major fan of the anime. But it'll always have a spot in my heart!

Well can't say what you said about the anime is wrong tbh.

I actually wanted to play pokemon games during my RPG maker game phase (cus I thought it was one), but I was too young to search and find on the Internet how to get them.

Oh, game roms? Yeah, finding good ones is tough, especially from credible places. I had a terrible time finding Touhou games before finding Moriya Shrine years ago.
