What's your getting into Touhou story?

My first anime convention, in the games room. They had a physical copy playing a Touhou game, I don't know which one and I died after playing for like 4min.

I was too shy to ask what it was called but when I got home I kept typing in a variety of google search results, describing what I played until I found subterranean animism.

I was exposed to it in 2010 or 2011 or something as a really little kid when I saw a guy on my brother's robotics team playing what I now know are PCB and IaMP and I thought it was cool, but what actually got me into it was in 2018 when I read some comments under deltarune videos comparing jevil to clownpiece

YES ACTUALLY she was my diehard favorite for years lol

I can't remember a specific moment or piece of media that had informed me of it's existence, it kind of just popped into my head around 2021. One of the catalysts for me getting into the series however is seeing Marisa's inclusion in Muse Dash. I would play her all the time!

I was aware of touhou for many many years just through seeing it pop up everywhere but for some reason felt a need to never look into it. then a friend of mine streamed some Touhou Luna Nights to me and I immediately got the game and binged it to full completion. that kind of broke the dam because I had to start looking into the official material and then playing the games and then here I am six years later
