Emojis/Smilies/Reactions Suggestions

Two quick disclaimers before I start:
First thing that I must say is that I'll be referring to the "Smilies" as "Emojis" because we have always called these as emojis. "Reactions" are the same so it doesn't matter here.
Second thing is that if anyone who agrees with me, please upvote this. If you disagree with specific emojis (and/or think that other ones should be added), please comment to leave your constructive criticism.

Alas, I do not posses the files of the emojis I'm gonna suggest to add here, and I do not have the patience nor the tools to properly find each image. Instead I'll have to say their names according to the Moriya Discord Server.
I assume (and hope) you can just ask another moderator/admin for the emojis' themselves, which is why I'm doing this way instead of hunting for images. I also must add that if these emojis are made public I'd be very happy and grateful (just sayin', kek).

Some suggestions are for emojis (smilies) only, and others are both for extra reactions plus emojis. I'll try to not be very biased here and go for what I think it would be the best.

:Myschi: as emoji only (barely used but it's a good one)

I might have overlooked some other good ones, but these ones are what I think that would be good if added. I also attempted to get those in the same order as the Discord Server shows (which makes me unsure if that was a good idea or not).

I like to use emotes/emojis a lot, but that looks kind of overwhelming... I was happy with the emojis from just before the site migration. And I also don't think it's fair for you to make this entire list by yourself and add all your favorite ones. I think it would be better for each person to reply to this thread and suggest 1 or 2 that they like : /

PS you can download the emojis from the discord server if you simply send it in a message and right-click on it.

Yes, precisely. I used the same name as they are written on the Moriya Shrine Discord Server. Not sure if it matches the original file names though.
Also, even though all my suggestions do stand (including the biased ones, mhehehehe), if you guys decide to make a different way of deciding which emojis are gonna be added I'll be good with it as long it has a decent laugh emoji (like KyoukoHuutis) and a good "approval" emoji (like MeilingThumbsUp).
It could be fun if the way of deciding which emojis are gonna be added was done via a small event with all the Moriya denizens. How that would play out? Give a time-limit of 2 weeks to 1 month and make people suggest which ones they'd like more. Could be a different kind of event as well if something different pops in mind.
Or it could be solved by just grabbing the same emoji set we had immediately before the website migration. That would be simple, effective, and efficient.

I'll respond properly by chopping your comment in 4 parts since it's 4 different things:

1) Technically speaking, we already have a huge arsenal of emojis that aren't used because most people don't really like them, whilst I indeed made a big list of suggestions (a whooping total of 19 emojis + 7 reactions), I don't think it would make the emoji tab feel like it's cluttered (maybe the reaction tab would be cluttered, so I can take that). Regardless, if you really feel like it's too many emojis, my counter-argument is that I genuinely think that most of these would be a good addition since more emojis mean more options of expressing yourself. If we have the same emojis we had just before the site migration (including the last additions like "MeilingThumbsUp") I'd also be satisfied;
2) I sincerely sent this suggestion because no one else did. I really like to have more options when chatting/reacting and anyone is free to give their thoughts on the matter (which is way better than only me giving opinions on what should or shouldn't be added). I can't deny that some of these on the list are some I really like but aren't very used (with them being "WakaWat", "Yeehaw", "junko_heart", "Myschi" and technically the extra "sip" emoji besides "KoishiSip"), but besides some bias on these, I legit tried to bring most of the ones that were used a lot back then (either at Discord Server or here) or that could have at least some use over here. In short, I didn't only pick up my favorites, I attempted to pick up the ones that would be mostly used.
And answering your other concern, it's not unfair because people can come here and share what they think as you just did (in fact, I invited them share their thoughts and not just blindly accept what I proposed). They also could have made their own posts about which emojis they think should be added (which they didn't). So at the moment, this is fair and square while also being completely democratic;
3) If people are willing to participate on a single post where they suggest which emojis they want, I'd also be satisfied (and of course, I'd carefully choose only 1 or 2 of my previous list);
4) I HAD NO IDEA, THANKYOUVERYMUCH! Now I can properly steal borrow them in case I ever want to use them (speaking as someone who doesn't wanna pay for Nitro but really like to use the KyoukoHuutis emoji).

So we're mostly in agreement? We actually had a lot of emojis just before site migration. I think we had most of the ones on your list plus some nice animated emojis :). But as you understood correctly I don't want the reaction space cluttered. It was strange enough having a heart, upvote, and thumbs up as different reactions. I prefer the reaction set as it is right now, plus the trophy reaction.

I'm down to return to our old emoji/emotes and have each person suggest one or two new ones. It already takes time re-adding the old ones so I don't want to burden Torm with so many more. And it's probably best to make a new topic with a clean slate because ain't no one wanna read all this!

We pretty much agree, yes. I do want some extra reactions though (getting extra 5 would be a good total but it can be less). And I still like the ThumbsUp as an different way of just pressing "Like". It's just different, I dunno.
I mostly want just the Touhou Emojis instead, because so far we got none of those. I don't really mind the animated emojis, but extra options are extra options.

Crab felt somewhat attacked on the previous reply, so I attepted to clear all possible misunderstandings while being completely honest to avoid any conflict that could arise from that. Being quick wasn't a priority.
I shall take your advice nevertheless. In fact, I should read Shakespeare to speak like Futo instead. That will be fun~

We can definitely take some suggestions from others on this. No big deal and there really is no limit to how many we can add but the emoji bar will get a bit crowded, i imagine. lol
