Rather, I seem to have an idea of what to draw but, the throughput between my hands and my mind is so wide that it feels impossible. Truly, one of the methods for that is to practice drawing and understand what you are doing but, still.
I really don't know what to draw. At the same time, I thinking way too hard about this; I thought of even returning onto actual art to draft and upgrade my art skills (fake it 'til you make it, y'know?).
Well, I mean, I got until the second third of November so... maybe I'll have figured out...
ever since I mentioned G-funk in a thread, I had a stupid-ass mash-up idea in mind. I'll see if this actually works and if it does, I'll publish it on the music thread for shits and gigs (and dope shit too, probably)
I was talking in this thread: https://moriyashrine.org/threads/touhou-musics-that-makes-you-cry-and-why.3382/
and then I mentioned G-funk. I said "Rural Makai City Esoteria has some funk inspiration" Maybe not the exact phrasing but, anywho.
Am I the only one who's been jamming hard to this?
While the G-funk association was kinda random, I can confirm Rural Makai City Esoteria has some funk inspiration in there. Happens to be I fw funk, so I ain't complaining.
Plus, Jazz Fusion (T-SQUARE, NANIWA EXPRESS, CASIOPEA, Masayoshi Takanaka, Mahavishnu Orchestra and so on) has some roots...
I guess we got to start somewhere. You're right, the climax of the tune is within that part, didn't cross my mind when I was listening to the song and writing this at the same time.
I do have other examples that while don't me cry (at least not all of them), they give a sentiment or eel that...
Something I can also add is that, the "transition" part between the first and second half of the song (0:43 ~ 0:56), the flute part, often gets removed in many arrangements. It sucks, because that part in particular is what gives so much power to both parts. The distant flute puts distance so...
The Fantastic Legend of Tohno, man.
I know that's not the "official" title of the song but, this sounds much better than The Mystical Tales from Tono. Rolls off the tongue better and sounds better, even if inaccurate.
Outside of that, this song in particular hits me for a reason...
I agree that Touhou isn't catered to one side or another, and I don't see why I should argue that. At the end of day, it doesn't matter why someone likes Touhou. As long they're not a moron. Rather, I should've said "What tends to be popular inside the series with female Touhou fans" instead...
Internet Footprint, everyone
I'm no better. While I wouldn't be the one to ask this question out loud (for a reason dawg), there are definitely girls into Touhou. However, there's something maybe @Buwako or @BrokenSubconscious could answer to help the question. What makes Touhou attractive to a...
I fw the idea. I wanna beat people around with Youmu or Meiling directly face-to-face instead of the odd hybrid mechanic of the official fighting games. I'm not the greatest fighting game player of all time but, I'd definitely consider playing against others with a Tekken-inspired fighting model.
Here I am. This time, I won't throw a question and leave it unanswered, I simply want to talk.
Now, after reading this, I have to say this:
I am not against EoSD-NC. I welcome it. I have no issues for newer Touhou fans to pass through EoSD-NC and learn from there. The game looks good, the...
Damn, I'm coming late.
Real shit, I think that is a great move. Already, the team at Shanghai Alice Reprise managed to reverse-engineer and remake EoSD, which I heard was lost for years until now (anecdote, not sure). Plus, for the Japanese fans and their negative vision on piracy and game...
Because as of now, it isn't relevant. The "new" question is to find why specifically Koishi got this abnormal rise in first-time voters for this current poll. This is why I personally focus on what happened between the 20th and 22nd: what thing in particular lead to this explosion of new-coming...
Interesting. I was targeting more on the Western side of things with the way that the thread was headed. Yet, maybe I'm reading it wrong, isn't it like the other Asian parts of the Touhou community not as affected, like with @vanyk's analysis of Touhou on video-sharing websites?
Given how...
Coming back to give a formal official apology to @Napechi97. As much as I made fun of his idea, I currently have fun playing FMW and want to continue further ever since. His idea and my own contraints managed to make something that's really cool if I say so myself.
As of speaking, I'm at...
