For me, I find them easy to use as both Youmu and Yuyuko do a lot of damage, they both seem to have pretty good bombs, and they have the best "adaptability" when switching between them quickly. Of course, otherwise, I'm not real sure why they work so well for me. (Though, their funny dialogue...
Sakuya seems like a really powerful character in every game she's in.
In both PCB and DDC, I've gotten further with her than with either Reimu or Marisa.
I'm trying to remember if Reimu A is her homing shot type...
I know that the homing shot types are typically what works best for me in regards to Touhou.
I can certainly agree that that the Youmu/Yuyuko team are the best in IN (I mean, I got my first major 1cc with them after all).
And also that the Magic Team have pretty bad shots/bombs. It's sad, as IN is the only Touhou danmaku game where Alice is playable.
I've had the game crash on me before when loading matches with certain characters.
I haven't had any problems like what you described though.
I've had problems starting up PoFV and PCB before, but that's about it.
The resolution problem I have also had before, but only with FW.
Ah. I just looked for the Akatsuki Records song again, and it's actually a remix of Yoshika and Seiga's themes.
Still, the Hachimitsu-Lemon one still stands as among the first Touhou arranges I came across.
One of first exposures to Touhou was a remix of Desire Drive as well.
I think it was by Akatsuki Records. Another one I had found was by Hachimitsu-Lemon.
I hate it when people do that almost more than anything.
When I get into a work, I get into it because of it's story, lore, world, and characters. I can't really get into a character unless I like the backstory to that character and/or the world they live in.
That's one of the main reasons I...
This is a bit off-topic, but it'd be impossible for me to see Touhou characters as "waifus". Just seems stupid to me to see them in that way.
I see them as characters who are interesting in their personalities and designs.
Though, I suppose I'm just an outlier among many things.
(Still, two of...
Nope. It'd just look too terrible.
One of the main reasons I can't draw or write very well is because I have Dyslexia (in this case, specifically the Dyslexia which prevents you from drawing or writing, as I can read perfectly fine), so my hands shake a lot.
Of course, I haven't drawn for maybe...
Those are the main reason I feel her gameplay to be practically a beast. Her attacks, while few, can do a lot of damage, and similar to one of Yukari's attacks, her dash can get you behind your opponent, so while it is slow, it's pretty effective.
Though, as you said, you definitely have to know...
Huh. Didn't expect you to be a girl (no offense though).
But, it is certainly pretty strange that there aren't more girls who are into Touhou, as it seems like Touhou is a series which both boys and girls can enjoy pretty easily.
In my experience, some of the most powerful characters in that game (not just "mashable"), would be of course with Ichirin and Koishi, but also with Yukari, Kokoro, and Byakuren (as long as you're able to control her good enough).
Koishi though is practically a beast, as she's able to take down...
There's probably also a lot more girls who are into Touhou, but might not just say they are.
Regardless, despite it seeming to be where male fans of Touhou outnumber those of female fans, there do still seem to be a number of them out there.
Of course, I tend to find myself down deep rabbit...
