Because Yukari insisted on trying out a "human flying machine" for the fun of it. She's also giving Ran enough space for those nine tails of hers to spread out, not knowing that someone else could take the seat.

As I do lots of cooking and baking in my spare time, I've been tinkering with a Japanese-style pudding recipe not too different than the ones you see in Touhou fan media. The most recent batch I made came out to be the best one yet, and I can confidently say that it's now worthy of meeting...
I awoke this morning to a lovely fruit smell when fetching some clothes out of my closet, compliments of my current projects. Fermentation on the pomegranate wine is coming along slower than expected, but the yeast is still doing their job regardless. I'll likely be able to check and see where...
Unless you're getting a doctorate or masters, college is basically a scam. Everyone and their dog have degrees because generations of Boomers and Gen Xers telling folks they're not getting anywhere without college, and lots of career fields are oversaturated because of it. I suppose it also...
Fourteen 1cc's later and I've finally cleared all of PoFV. Never thought I'd see this day, but I suppose all things are possible if you try at it hard enough.

EoSD is a fine option to begin with, but I'd personally recommend Perfect Cherry Blossom as the best game for a first timer. The patterns are less random, hitboxes are visible (with Reimu also having the smallest hitbox in the series here), and you frequently get shields that can tank a hit...
It's actually insane how much damage Yuyu's spread shot does in that game, you literally have to stop shooting if you want familiar time orbs because you'll kill the summoners before they're able to call them. Outside of requiring practice, there's no downsides to using Myon and SpookyHime.
With 19 mainline games worth of shot types, there's bound to be some that are less than ideal to use. Some of them have glaring weaknesses holding them back, mechanics that are too gimmicky to effectively to use, or are simply outclassed by other shots that are straight upgrades. Let us know...
I personally use Fceux, it's got a lot of good settings, save states, and plays both Famicom/NES games. All you need is that and the game ROM, it's plug and play after that.
Good choice, Castlevania III is my personal favorite. Try to play the Japanese version of the game, Akumajou Densetsu, if you can; It has extra sound channels the NES version doesn't have and will bless your ears with how bloody good the soundtrack is.
