Today is Undertale's tenth anniversary, and in preparation for it I have endeavored to compile a project comparable to that which has engaged me over on Musical Discoveries for the past few years: A uniquely sourced remix for every individual track of the OST. I anticipated this to be a less...

Curly Hamilton - Hifu in Wonderland Not a new name to this project, but it's been a while (close to two years), and considering there's an album's worth of options from this name alone I figured I owed them the recognition. Of those options, this was the most distinct take, referring both to...

GET IN THE RING is my top circle; I'd recommend "Moonscraper" and "Rebirth," but that only scratches the surface of what they've put out. ssbbmaster may not qualify as a 'circle,' but there's no other orchestral artist I'd rank higher (technically more symphonic metal nowadays, but I continue...

I've tried to back off on doing refeatures too often, both because I perceive it as a crutch and because their decreased frequency makes them more viable options for periods of restricted availability (e.g. the holiday season). But I believe there's still a time and place for them, especially in...

"Kannushi" replaced the pre-2025 forum role of "Contributor," which (if I recall correctly) used to be assigned to those approved to upload files. At some point this functionality became a more general one, but presumably the assignment remains as a potential indicator of those who were more...

Makura - My Favorite Shirt I'm not particularly fond of "Pandemonic Planet," though I have encountered remixes thereof that I've appreciated very much (see RT6.1.3). It's a chaotic piece by default, and many arrangements lean into that; I much prefer something that highlights the motifs for...

Silksong is out, and I've been blessed to have the day off for it, but Steam won't let me in just now, so I'm stuck waiting without knowing how long it'll be (in hindsight I should have expected this). In the meantime, might as well share some music. My grandfather did karaoke in his...

Starting this month out by making good on the Hiveswap: Act 2 feature I promised a couple years back. But first, I'd like to elaborate on my encounter with this soundtrack, mostly for my own sake. 2017 was when I initially developed my investment with VGM, specifically motivated by my discovery...

Holly I - The Sea that has Swallowed Up the Home Planet Translation is iffy, but it's without question different from the original title, and the indications seem consistent, so I'm committing. I love the original track, and appreciate many of the arrangement I've heard for it, but there's...

Seemed fitting to finally cover Sonic Unleashed, also known as Sonic World Adventure, as a followup to Mario Odyssey; while the two were not in any way associated with each other at their respective releases, there is nonetheless a thematic parallel of globetrotting, which is somewhat reflected...

ONSEN PROJECT - Wheel of Fortune Quite happy with this one, as it faithfully yet distinctly adapts the motifs into a thematically appropriate song (and I even find the chorus "catchy," a rarity for me). Cafe de Matsubara (Matsuba) - Twinkle Star Piece The slight discord is genius, tinging the...

I'm back, and appreciating the reinstatement of default green theming on the site (for however long it lasts). Occasionally, I've intentionally avoided engaging with specific soundtracks which are part of a larger franchise in cases when I am lacking familiarity with the history. My thought...

Twitter Tohobu - The Mysterious Shrine Maiden Flying Through Space Please pay no mind to the audio blip at the beginning; it's more than likely an upload error. The performance has been posted live elsewhere, but due to audio quality I opted for this recording instead. Nonetheless, it's nice to...

Octopath Traveler 0 was just announced, and being I'm never too far from my favorite soundtracks it seemed fitting for me to do a quick homage to the existent entries thus far. I could easily do another feature for any one of the three previously released games, but to better suit the occasion...

ti - The Rabbit Has Landed Didn't spend too much time on this one; I can't remember if I've featured ti before, and the alias is too short to check for, so since the opportunity has arisen I have taken advantage of it. This is an appropriately fun and cutesy arrangement with just a touch of...

Tony Grayson's Antonblast soundtrack has finally seen OST release, and I have subsequently made time to experience it. As anticipated, the tracks therein are of fair quality, favoring beat without skimping on melody and occasionally exhibiting some especially exciting compositions. I appreciated...
