Not exactly a fandom, but I'm sorta in the tea tasting scene. I order quality leaves from asia, I taste them, sometimes I write reviews for them.
Anyone I've ever talked to in the community was very chill and supportive. Such a peaceful hobby. Beautiful gaiwans are to be seen and such.
I'll start!
Üdv!
I'm Ákos, I'm mostly active on Discord, but I check on the shrine weekly. I don't really involve myself with the anime community, though I've been to MondoCon twice in my life. I've seen Touhou cosplayers there, so I'm sure there are touhou fans in Hungary.
Fair, but some like more escapism in their fantasy stories.
Fanon is probably the only thing keeping the touhou community as big as it is, so I wouldn't take too much of a jab at it.
I think Cirno is more affected by the stereotypes, than any other character. Poor fairy. Sanae is probably the...
I think that comes more from the character she is.
Reimu is usually portrayed in fandom as a lazy, "let's get this over with" attitude person, with money problems. Seems pretty relatable for the masses.
Marisa is a sly thief, witty, goofy, funny to watch.
I won't get into other playable...
Yeah, that's the problem.
I think people just like to ragebait people who like popular characters. In my opinion, Sanae hate is not a big trendy thing. There are more characters that deserve to be disliked.
As for Edgeworth, I do dislike him, but more due to his character, rather than his...
I don't think people hate Sanae that much. As for double standards, I think a rivalry between shrines is a unique aspect between the two characters, I'd say that would be more of an aspect.
Green Reimu
I don't think people hate Sanae, not to that extent definitely. Some definitely can't let go of the fact that she was an antagonist once, that much is true.
For me it was the music that made me interested, but the overall world and philosophical questions that comes with it made me stay.
Cute girls doing stuff is a genre that comes in many forms, but the world building and the mythical touch ZUN has given definitely makes it unique. Fanon and canon...
Greetings people!
My name is Ákos, a hungarian touhou fan. I don't know when or how I got into touhou, it just happened somehow, I do remember using this site a couple years ago, although it was only for downloads, no forum stuff. It's safe to say that I've been interested in the franchise for...
Ironically enough, I don't think the themes would differ much from the current plot. Magic is used to explain the unexplainable. Technology is used to explain the unexplainable. It would probably become some mecha franchise instead of magical girls, but at the end of the day, humanity and it's...
That title is scarily similar to a historic question regarding a specific group of people, which was a very popular topic in the 1930s and '40s.
