For me, Reimu has always been my first pick when it comes to playing the mainline games simply for her ease of use and availability for players who are new and still learning the games. Her homing amulets allow you to attack enemies without having to move too much while her Needle Shot allows...
Yeah, with Marisa, you're going to be repositioning a lot which puts you at risk of getting hit. At least Reimu has the benefit of having a smaller hitbox.
I think Sakuya A in PCB is just a better Reimu A. There's a clear difference in damage but there's a certain range you have be in for the homing to take effect but it's not that strict and it continues to lock on the enemy even when out of range. My only issue with Sakuya A is that her Spellcard...
Youmu deals very high single target damage and she only needs half of the human gauge filled to generate time orbs with her shot but her shot is pretty clunky to use and her bomb only targets what's in front of her so the reward for escape bombing is underwhelming compared to other characters...
I never really felt like I had a great time with Reimu A. Double Dealing Character is the only Touhou game where I could say that I found Reimu A to be enjoyable. A lot of my problems with Reimu A, mostly came from my experience with trying to get my Easy 1cc in PCB since a lot of my failed...
I mean, I would naturally assume that picking Marisa in any Touhou game would makes thing difficult since she will need to reposition a lot if she wants to deal effective damage against enemies or deal with enemies she can't hit on screen depending on her position which is more likely going to...
My first exposure to Touhou was through a remix of Desire Drive that I found on youtube and really enjoyed. I've known about Touhou for quite awhile but I never really understood about the series and it's characters until recently and started playing the games and reading the printworks. I feel...
I find it difficult to recommended WBaWC to someone that's new or a beginner at Touhou cause of the Animal Spirit mechanic which is UFO but done better.
That being said, WBaWC is one of the few Touhou games I like and enjoy playing but I do find it sad that it isn't that well liked.
I question the point of this continue systems compared to the one in others games that we have now. If you're struggling and dying to a stage that much, you might as well restart the entire game to pile up more lives at the beginning.
I find Narumi to be way worst than Aunn but I guess it...
1. The UFO/Spirit Beast System in Touhou 12/17, which is pretty ironic considering Touhou 17 was the first Normal 1cc I got in a Touhou game and I do like the game. Micromanagement in a bullet hell game just don't pair well together and just makes things more distracting when you're already so...
Doing full runs repeatedly though I did try out practice mode in Hidden Star though mostly with Stage 1 & 2 cause I was dying at the earlier stages.
My main issue with Stage 4 & 5 of Imperishable Night were the bosses themselves than the actual stage mainly cause of the amount of precise micro...
This is something that's been going on in my mind recently. Ever since I got my Normal 1cc in Wily Beasts & Weakest Creatures, with Otters Reimu which is the first one I gotten in a Touhou game. I wanted to give it another go with a different character and animal spirit since I thought it was...
