Fate series generally. I'm a history buff so it's cool to see these historical/mythological figures reimagined through a Japanese lens.

It's easier than it looks tbf. I think Chicken Chasseur and French Onion Soup are hard to fuck up if you know what you're doing. Honestly wine + butter is a godsend, although it's hard to assess the cooking abilities of someone on the internet tbh.

I'm deathly allergic to peanuts so Thai is a no-no for me sadly.

Both. I haven't read it so I can't comment on it's quality but if you like cute/light hearted anime about cats and history then I'd probably recommend it. I love Japanese history so it seems like a win.
