Description
One day in Gensokyo, a large hole resembling a cave suddenly appeared beside the Hakurei Shrine and Reimu intends to see what is going on. Touhou Meikaidou Kou is an action platformer developed by MOON GODDESS and also the first game in the series, it features the characters from Touhou Koumakyou. The game consists of six side-scrolling platformer levels where in each level, the player-character, Reimu, fights through fairies and obstacles before facing a boss at the level's end. Reimu can jump and throw her talismans which shoot rapidly when the player holds the attack button. Touhou Meikaidou Kou's linear gameplay only allows the player to advance to the next predetermined stage without the possibility of choosing a particular one.
