    Drawing is much more fun when you aren't trying to make something good or serious! Sometimes it is just nice to not have to think too much on what you are trying to draw!

    Trust me, i understand it. I used to be like that too for years. But being too critical of everything you do in your drawing will get you nowhere. How i learned to establish certain traits in my art was to look at what i liked and didn't like about a drawing i drew. For example liking how one drew the eyes but not liking how they drew the hair. So one keeps that trait with the eyes while trying to see what form of hair they like to do.

    I would say something but i can't really considering that im still on deciding on artstyle (i started drawing kinda lot time ago but long time i was researching on how to draw advanced, classic anime style until i got burned out and forced to start drawing Chibis, and another long time is getting to discipline myself a lil with the drawing cuz if i didn't i would draw once a blue moon)
    Since my first, my own artstyle failed at satisfying me (i madeterrible head, although the rest of the body was mediocre, although a lil too wide) so i decided to get another chibi style from a song made by Shinra Bansho and Chocofan (Noumiso Rigid Girl) as a reference

    I don't even have a defined art style myself. but each drawing exhibits certain traits that do show that it is done by me.

    Currently i am working on a really dumb Touhou joke game on RPG Maker (specifically VX Ace). I intend for the game to not be too long and be intentionally bad looking. Drawn by yours truly! (i'm a bad artist).

    One thing i realised while learning how to 3d model. Is that 3d modeling is generally not as hard as it seems, especially if you are working with low polygon models. It can seem overwhelming with Blender having a really bloated UI but debloating it by hiding menus and UI stuff that i barely would ever use has given me a lot of real estate for the viewport!

    I understand the hate for things like Fumos and LostWord, but I still can't deny them for bringing more people to the series, some of the people I've met started in those mediums and became long term fans who are genuinely fun to be around.

    However I cannot deny the repercussions of the kinds of fans in those places, especially the fumo fans. Fumos are just the Labubus of Touhou at this point anyways. What was once another niche piece of merch from a series has suddenly become another hypothetical gold nugget for money laundering, with relentless hype in the guise of shallow memes made by people who can only afford the bootlegs, with a majority of the people acting super territorial about them and pretend like they're an endangered species or something.

    Fumos, like many things are simply just more merch for a series you care about and they should be treated as such. But my goodness, a majority of the fans of them need to wake up and either invest in the actual series or reflect on their behavior.

    People really assume that new fans get into touhou because they actually care about it. They don't, they see the cute moe stuff or the Yuri porn and larp to be inside a fandom that misses the point in the first place

    The original isaac has that edmund charm. Especially with the flash vector style he is known for. Rebirth and onwards went with a more remixable style that was easier to make and remix. it still has traces of edmund's art style tho. But it's nice seeing that vector style returning in Mewgenics. Almost looks like a late 2000s flash game if it was made in modern day.
