Here's why I absolutely adore SakuMari!!
To begin with, in the endings of EoSD, we see Sakuya generally being very friendly with Marisa. (Maybe even too friendly when she's just a book-stealing magician... Hell!! Seen below) And it makes me think "Hey, maybe she actually took a liking to her" Obviously, characters being friendly doesn't automatically mean they love eachother, but this is shipping, a hypothetical exploration of a relationship between characters. Also, my god, their dialogue. And overall they have this really interesting dynamic. There are contrasts between the two (A sophisticated maid and a tomboyish magician), and there are points where you can see similarities (These two are WEIRDOS!!). And you can create so many interesting scenarios and fanfics using their dynamic, there's just so much to work with.
