also it is like this in pretty much most of touhou communities (and other communities too!) on other big social medias

honestly not so sure as I don't browse either the official touhou discord or the subreddit, but I've heard both are cancer, so there you have it

as for general communities, twitter is and always will be cancer, with reddit being a close second
discord has a few outliers but nothing too crazy, at least usually
best bet is to just find someone irl and see if they like something you do lmao or just use smaller platforms like this one

Im remember this whole drama on the touhou subreddit, i genuinely don't understand how that could happen, its a game about moe youkais play fighting against a witch and shrine maiden.

the only "funny" thing i can recall involving the touhou subreddit was during the r/place and the whole thing with the Canada flag

there are also those small youtube channels that talk about touhou like megapig and suwawako (please check them if you haven't heard about), who appear to have some good but small communities. Even though I personally don't watch too much touhou channels, i still appreciate their effort to produce relatable and good content
