heyo! i'm chipy :) nice to meet yall!

im a new touhou fan. ive listened the music for a damn long time but im slowly playing the games. ive beat the first six, and im currently stuck in PCB. my favourite character is Patchouli, anddd my favourite music album is DiPP

anyway, im trying to find places to chat and make som friends, because im not too active to use discord, so i thought a forum would fit better!

Looks like even tho you're new Touhou fan you still are better than most people (i think) since Touhou 6 is considered to be one of the hardest Danmaku games

ohh ty ^^ but it took a damn long time LOL theres so much RNG in that game. i think Meiling and Sakuya were the worst for me, specially Meiling, with that stupid rain spell cards >:((
everyone told me to start on PCB but I was too stubborn LOL i havent finished the extra stage, tho ToT but I'm training!!

Funny, most people consider PCB to be a little easier than EoSD, and that game isn't crazy difficult to begin with. There's plenty of resources 'round the site if you need any additional tips and pointers with the games, through from the sound of things you're already making good progress. Have you beaten any of the extra stages yet?

Now i played HRtP and damn it's infuriating, even worse than EoSD, im surprised you had the mentality to finish this, especially with the fact that sometimes when you try to do a combo bomb is activated for no reason instead, and also that one YuugenMagan's spammy spike attack.

oh PCB is way much easier lol it was such a shock of differences to be able to reach Stage 4 with little to no deaths! i haven't beat the extra stages, though ToT im still suffering through Patchouli's spell card
 
Same here, I started with MoF and then moved onto SA since I heard it was difficult. Its manageable until you get to stage 5 and then stage 6 is relaxing. Thinking about watching the anime(s)?

I love HRtP, mostly because of the art, but godamnit that fucking ball it's hellish. I remember almost crying out of frustration trying to beat Sariel. I have nice memories, though, playing it midnight at my nanna's house :)) i didn't beat it that night, though TOT i would only beat it a few months later, in a random school day LMAO we had nothing to do so I downloaded the PC-98 emulator and played it until the end.

I think Sariel is one of my favourite bosses of all time. The musical buildup followed by her eerie entry gives me goosebumps every single time! i didn't have the patience to beat the Mima Route, though ToT
