is there anyway to fullscreen it? when i try to enable fullscreen from the config,the game just crashed instantly, if i try to run in on windowed and try to fullscreen it using alt+enter,it would still run on windowed but without any border. i'm thinking that this is just regular windows 11 fucked old games,but if there's any solution then i'll be grateful

That's unusual. I never suffered any of those issues with using Alt + Enter. I use Windows 11 too, and it seems to reliably work. If all else fails, you may have to go with it windowed unfortunately.

Oh, fullscreen's always borderless from what I can tell, unfortunately.
 
i may or may not be stupid but i'm having this problem where every option i select on the main menu crashes the game, and when i select main story, there is no text in the textboxes. i have no idea what i'm doing please help

This is an easy fix. Try this:
1) Use 7-Zip to properly extract the file contents.
2) You need to be in the Japanese region for the game to run properly (to show text and not crash). This can be done via:
Control Panel -> Region -> Administrative -> Change system locale for Non-Unicode -> Japan (Japanese) -> Restart when prompted.

1) Use 7-Zip to properly extract the file contents. Right click on the zip file, Show More Options, hover over 7-Zip, then Extract Files.

quick question but I can just change it back to english l8r and play it normally right?

Not exactly. For Touhou Soccer Moushuuden, you must have non-Unicode in Japanese all the time or the game will break.

But if you're not playing the game, yes, you can change it back. Do note that changing non-Unicode doesn't do anything else really in terms of interfering with games, internet, etc., so you can feel free to leave it on Japanese practically for good if you intend to play it again. Only old, legacy programs may have garbled text or display errors.

something i'd like to bring to peoples attention is that some people in Asprey's discord has made fixes to the game that get rid of the crashes the game has. so it'd be great if this was updated with said fix. on a side note, they also figured out how to mod the game as well and are making mods for the game.

I dont know if im doing something wrong but my game softlocks after the 3rd match even though i turned the bgm off. Is there a way to fix this? (sorry for bad english btw)
