Damn, that's awesome! Tbh, most people get into touhou thanks to the fan-games so you're good. Long posts mean that you're passionate about this and I love to see that!

They're both really good on their own! PCB's cast might not be as popular as EoSD but damn, every character is so flashy with their own little quirks.

Fantasy Kaleidoscope was honestly pretty good, I love the Hisoutensoku bits with Cirno fighting Okuu and showing how damn powerful she is. GOOD! Honestly, Youmu is too good of a design AND character, her theme is also pretty addictive.

I NEED THAT

The Million Dollar question that has been asked before probably! I remember playing a bit of Touhou PCB back in my early high school years (I'm 22 now), but wasn't too into it. Going back to last year when two of my best friends that were into Touhou introduced me to Touhou Eurobeat covers, and I LOVE THEM. Personal favorites are Warning, Faith, and On the moon. After that I decided to learn more about the story, characters and the games and that's how I reunited with PCB and decided to play the rest of the games as well and now here I am! What's your story?

Oh, I haven't seen those before. I was mainly talking about the level of the Kaguya and Meiling fanon perspectives which people seem to really dislike. Compared to that, the ones I mentioned doesn't seem bad after all

I personally don't mind them really. For example, I think it's hilarious that Meiling is portrayed as a Narcoleptic guard keeper because Reimu and Marisa aside, no one is stupid enough to enter the SDM while Sakuya is around. It really comes down to personal opinion which is why I decided to start this forum.

First of all, I'm not trying to start a war or anything, I'm genuinely curious about what you guys' opinion are on this You're probably wondering why I suddenly decided to start this topic, and this will (hopefully) answer that question; So it all started this morning when I decided to listen to Eiki's PoFV theme and I found this one YT comment talking about how fandom destroyed Eiki's character and then went into this thread where people were talking about how the Fandom likes to ruin characters, regardless of how they act in the original works/game. Another example of this being Kaguya where she's portrayed as a NEET in Fandom or Flandre where she is portrayed as a Lunatic killing machine, which in canon, she really isn't. My question being, why does people hate the fandom interpretations so much? I get that it changes the characters and whatnot but to go as far as saying "HURR DURR THIS RUINS MY CHARACTER", I think it goes a bit over the line. What do you guys think? Should the fandom interpretations get this much hate?

What are your favorite Touhou M-1 Grand Prix skit(s)?
Akira Diamond replied to CountVonNumenor's topic in Misty Lake
My favorite part about the 6th M-1 is Ran desperately trying to make Yukari not blow up both her and Chen. Chen: "Lady Ran said the following" Ran: "Uh-oh" Chen: "Our team is definitely funnier than Barrier Girls" Ran: "I DIDN'T SAY THAT" Chen: "I won't lose on breast size either" Ran: "I DO LOSE! I'm two cups smaller, I'm a washboard compared to her!" Chen: "Her fashion sense is lame" Ran: "IT'S FANTASTIC!" -
What are your favorite Touhou M-1 Grand Prix skit(s)?
Akira Diamond replied to CountVonNumenor's topic in Misty Lake
Favorite Skits from M-1 one has to be: *PatchouMirin (Patchouli and Meiling 2nd M-1), the whole Parappa the Rapper thing made me lose my mind, it was amazing. *Yakumo Chen, like previously mentioned it brought the "Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeen" part and the Dearest Yukari-sama part was incredibly good. *TewiKourin (Tewi and Rinnosuke), I wasn't sure how these two were going to work out but the thing about Rinnosuke having to pay Tewi in order to keep the manzai going was really good. And the whole American Comedy with Blond Tewi was quite incredible as well. *Shutter Girls (Hatate and Aya), so far my favorite group, the "Gensokyo quiz" is absolutely one of my favorite skits so far.
