This requires more context. Yukari stole the sake not for trolling but to frighten eirin since she believed that her and kaguya were above the rules set in gensokyo regarding yokai and humans. The entire plot of silent sinner in blue is summed up as "yukari really wanted to establish the pecking order to eirin" that includes the war, tricking remilia into getting involved (which she caught on to but went with it) the entire group getting their asses kicked by the watasushi sisters. All of it was a plot to get lunarian sake to give to eirin which causes her to absolutely lose it in cage of the runagate

fair enough, touhou fighting games are just so different from other fighting games that it's hard to figure out what would work

A character variation behind costumes sounds a lot of fun, like normal crino and Advent cirno would have different moveset (Advent cirno is just her wearing cloud's gear from ff7) As for shinmy, how would she play. The biggest issue would be her size, maybe a partner gimmick with seija?

so i was inspired by another thread talking about future touhou game mechanics and thought i make a similar thread for a dream touhou fighting game, what would be the roster, mechanics, stages and all that. if i had my way and was able to make a fighting game, the two main characters would be hong meiling and yuugi hoshiguma since they would be the most likely to adapt to a fighting game being canonically not that good at danmaku (meiling) or is good but prefers fighting hand to hand (yuugi)

honestly the only characters i can think of that has a actual explanation to looking young is tewi and mamizou. here me out; what are two things we know about tewi: 1: she's the inaba white rabbit 2: she like to play pranks in my mind, tewi looks young in order to better hide from humans so she can do her pranks more often, after all a innocent looking child is going not be noticeable to people who got pranked and are inconvenienced while getting laughed at as for mami, simple she's old, she knows it and looks young because she don't want to be reminded of her old age

I don't have much to add here since I have not watched the video but I do have to agree that bar none pure furies is the absolute peak of the touhou music. It works so well as a song that sounds so simplistic compared to some of the other well known songs like UN Owen was her but it being simple makes it so memorable since Junko is all about purity and the best way to translate this is through a song that acts as more a base to be built upon than a full song altogether. Also if it's true about sadist reisen that's terrible, I prefer the idea that reisen is a somewhat PTSD bunny who willingly takes the possible abuse from the rest of the crew because not only is she used to it but she knows it's not malicious so rolls with it.

I would like a idea of a main mechanic being based off ramping up damage the longer one does a combo while also being allowed to a graze type counter allowing any attack to be reversed into the opponent starting a counter Does that make sense, I think that makes sense
