Release Information Type: Fighting Developer: Team Shanghai Alice & Tasogare Frontier Publisher: Team Shanghai Alice & Tasogare Frontier Release: Reitaisai 10, on May 26, 2013 Language: English-Patched (MotK 1.05) Silhouette On Cover: Kokoro Hata (Final Boss) Character Information Playable Characters: 10 (Reimu, Marisa, Nitori, Koishi, Ichirin, Byakuren, Futo, Miko, Mamizou, Kokoro) Description Seeing all these incidents occurring out of their control, the Human Village has fallen into a state of disorder and nihilism. Believing that some religion could restore order, some of Gensokyo's most prominent representatives of Shinto, Buddhism, and Taoism take this opportunity to convert the public to their faith by demonstrating their abilities in battle to a live audience to promote faith in their religion. Unique Gameplay Mechanics Aerial Combat * Contrary to the past fighting games in the series, characters now participate in aerial combat. The center of the field is the neutral area, essentially where the "ground" was in past games. You can move up and down, and anytime you're moving vertically, you're grazing. Popularity * If your Popularity hits 100%, you can unleash your Last Word spell card on your opponent! (If you do this, both combatant's Popularity goes back down to 0% afterward.) * Popularity is also used as a time-out tiebreaker. * Popularity goes up or down based upon the actions the combatants take. For example: -> First Attack: The first to land a hit receives +10% Popularity. -> Counterattack: When you counter, you gain +5% Popularity, and your opponent loses -5% Popularity. -> Elegant Flurry: When your opponent is stunned, you receive a bonus of +5% to +9% Popularity, depending on how stunned you leave them. -> Guard Crush: If your spirit bar depletes entirely by guarding too much, your guard is crushed, and you'll lose -5% popularity. -> Defensive: Defending too often won't please the crowd; your popularity goes down -5%. Religion * You can change your characters' attacks in the Profile menu. This is important because attacks may add/subtract religion affiliation between Shinto, Buddhism, and Taoism. * There also exist items you can equip that don't have any battle effect, but change religious affiliation. * When a religious affiliation gains enough faith, your character's attacks change. To wit: -> Shinto: Your attacks start homing in slightly. -> Buddhism: Your attacks gain more power. -> Taoism: Your attacks gain more area of effect. Scorefile * This scorefile was provided by an unknown source. * It unlocks Kokoro. -> You can help get this scorefile to 100%! If you have a scorefile which improves upon the progress in this existing file, please submit it to us! Th13.5 (HM) Scorefile.zip

Release Information Type: Bullet Hell Developer: Team Shanghai Alice Publisher: Team Shanghai Alice Release: Comiket 80, on August 13, 2011 Language: English-Patched (ThCrap Self-Updating Standalone) Silhouette On Cover: Miko Toyosatomimi (Final Boss) Character Information Playable Characters: 4 (Reimu, Marisa, Sanae, Youmu) Shot Types: 2 Each (Simultaneously) Description There are spirits everywhere. Normal spirits would be of no concern, but those sighted of late have been different from the usual types. Uncertain what to make of the situation, our girls are off once again to seek answers. Unique Gameplay Mechanics Focus-Based Shot Types * In this game, our girls came prepared - the reason there isn't a shot type select for any of them this time around is because they brought everything they've got. * 2 shot types are active at all times. One weaker one is always used whether you're focused or not (for example, Reimu's non-homing amulets). Your strong shot switches depending on whether you're Focused or not (for example, Reimu's homing amulets while unfocused, and her Evil-Sealing Needles while focused). * All shot types gain power together, so there's no need to worry about whether you're Focusing when you collect Power items. Divine Spirits * Along with Power and Point items are little translucent orbs that sit in place when they spawn, which are the Divine Spirits in question. Each serves their own function. -> Blue Spirits add to your point value and Trance Gauge (more about that below). -> Pink Spirits are this game's life pieces; collect enough and you earn an Extend. Each subsequent life requires you to collect more Pink Spirits than the previous one, starting at 8. -> Green Spirits are this game's bomb pieces; collect 8 to earn a Bomb (Spell Card). -> Gray Spirits appear only when you defeat a lot of enemies in a row, or die. Their main purpose is to add to your Trance Gauge, but they also act like gold-bordered Point items that are worth max points no matter where on the screen you collect them. -> Bosses also drop spirits between phases along with the usual Power/Point item batch. In addition, they also gradually drop Blue Spirits at all times - slowly if you're far away, ridiculously fast if you're right next to them. (This is a technique called "boss grazing," and is popular for use in score runs.) Trance * In the lower-left corner of the screen, you can see the Trance Gauge, which starts the game at one full flame, and goes up to a maximum of 3. * If the gauge is full, you can manually enter Trance anytime by hitting the [Trance] button. You'll also automatically enter Trance whenever you die (as in, you must fail to deathbomb). * Interestingly enough, you can also deathtrance, which, as the name may imply, involves hitting [Trance] right after getting hit to enter a trance manually and avoid losing a life. The timing is very strict, however. * The amount of time you spend in Trance depends on the charge you had on the gauge, up to 10 full seconds for 3 full flames. * Trance makes you completely invulnerable and makes you very powerful for those precious few seconds you get. * Regardless of how you entered Trance, the gauge will be totally empty afterward. Youmu's Sword * Youmu functions differently from the other girls. When she Focuses, instead of switching to another shot type, she stops firing to ready herself to draw her swords. Simply let go of the Focus button after charging to unleash a slash combo. * Youmu's sword-slash combo starts at 3 slashes, and gains 1 extra slash per power level (so at the max of 4.0 power, she slashes a total of 6 times). Scorefile * This scorefile was provided by Dark Kijin. * It has 100% Spell Card availability in Spell Card Practice, which includes Overdrive cards. * It unlocks the Extra stage for everyone, but it's only cleared with Reimu. (So 100% availability, but not clearance.) * The game is cleared on Normal as all characters, and on Easy as Reimu and Youmu, but everything else is missing. -> You can help get this scorefile to 100%! Release Information Type: Bullet Hell Freezing Developer: Team Shanghai Alice Publisher: Team Shanghai Alice Release: Comiket 78 on August 14, 2010 Language: English-Patched (ThCrap Self-Updating Standalone) Silhouette On Cover: Cirno (Sole Playable Character) Character Information Playable Characters: 1 (Cirno) Shot Types: 1 (With Level Up System) Description Cirno has challenged the three mischievous fairies to a fight! (Or did they challenge her? She can't remember.) The winner gets to declare themselves the strongest, and able to terrorize humans in the name of fairies everywhere, so off Cirno goes to freeze everything that gets in her way! Unique Gameplay Mechanics Freezing * Hey, the enemies fire way too many bullets in this game, don't they? Yes. Yes they do. So not only can you fire back as usual, you can also freeze enemy bullets. What You Can Freeze and How It Works * You can freeze normal bullets (the vast majority of what you'll see). Charge your Ice Barrier by holding the [Z] (Freeze) button, then let go; you'll envelop the immediate vicinity in ice. Nearby bullets will freeze, which causes bullets close to them to also freeze; if you do this correctly, you can cause chain-freezing the entire way up the screen. * Ice Barrier Potency: Your Ice Barrier's potency is the percentage displayed above Cirno's head. It charges slowly, similar to Aya's camera in the photography games. You can charge it faster by hitting enemies with rapid-fire shots and by performing successful freezes. The percentage determines how powerful the effect of your Ice Barrier will be if you use it right at that moment; using it at a full 100% can easily freeze the entire contents of the screen when done right, whereas using it at 30% (the lowest charge you can use it at) affords barely enough time to give you an extra moment to think. * Perfect Freeze: Cirno's spell card freezes absolutely everything onscreen that can be frozen normally, and has the added effect of also freezing fireballs (see below). You charge Perfect Freeze energy the same way you charge Ice Barrier energy (hitting enemies with rapid-fire shots and performing successful freezes). Hazards You Can't Freeze * You can't freeze fireballs, at least not with your standard Ice Barrier; the only resource you have that can freeze Fireballs is Perfect Freeze. Fireballs will start appearing in stage 2, and you'll be reminded of their presence. * You can't freeze lasers. In fact, lasers break ice, turning it into bullet shards that will hurt you! Lasers will start turning up in stage 3. * You can't freeze beams, which are a hazard only present in the Extra Route. Ice will only act as a shield against them. Any time you spend in beams gradually drains Cirno's Motivation. Motivation * So by now you're wondering where your life count is. The answer is that Cirno can go on as long as she's sufficiently motivated; the Motivation count is Cirno's "lives" counter, with 100% being one life. * How do you keep her motivated? Why, success of course - hit enemies with her shots, and freeze bullets with her Ice Barrier! * Max Motivation is 1,000%, or 10 lives. Level Up System * There aren't any Power items in this game, so instead, Cirno gains Experience by defeating or freezing enemies. When she gains enough, she levels up, and gains more firepower icepower, up to a maximum of Level 16. (Who knew Cirno could count past 9?) * On Easy, you start at Level 3, but on any other difficulty, you start the game at Level 1. Scorefile * This scorefile was provided by Wolfdragon Rex and CKenshin. * It unlocks the Extra stage, which is also cleared. * It has all routes cleared on Easy, and has all routes cleared on Normal; there are no clears on Hard or Lunatic. -> You can help get this scorefile to 100%! Release Information Type: Bullet Hell Developer: Team Shanghai Alice Publisher: Team Shanghai Alice Release: Comiket 92, on August 11, 2017 Language: Japanese Silhouettes On Cover: Okina Matara (Final Boss), Satono Nishida and Mai Teireida (Stage 5 Bosses) AKA 東方天空璋 ~ Hidden Star in Four Seasons. Notice: Your anti-virus is going to trigger because ThPatch's translations are injected directly from their site, andwe can't do anything about that because they don't do standalone patches anymore. Character Information Playable Characters: 4 (Reimu, Marisa, Aya, Tanned Cirno) Shot Types: 5 Each Description Despite it being midsummer, the seasons in various locations are completely out of whack. The Hakurei Shrine is showered in cherry petals, Youkai Mountain is basking in the middle of autumn, and the Forest of Magic is blanketed in snow... and thanks to some strange force, Gensokyo's fairies are running rampant with unfathomable strength. In the midst of this undeniable incident, the girls set out to investigate and find the perpetrator behind it. Unique Gameplay Mechanics Seasons Since the whole game is based around seasons, it'd make sense for the seasons to come into play when you pick your player. As such, along with your main shot, you get to pick a season specific sub shot. Each sub shot is essentially a weaker version of the matching main shot (so Sub Spring is homing, just like Reimu's Main Shot). Your sub shot also changes what Release you have. The Extra Stage has its own unique sub shot that can only be used during it (and is the only sub shot that can be picked there). Season Items and Options When you get into the game, you'll notice a bar on the bottom left. This is the release bar. When you collect season items, it fills up, and when it's full, you gain one sub shot option. The bar can be filled up to 6 times, giving a total of 6 options. But how do you get season items you ask? Simple my good sir! Season items are generated by: * Killing enemies * Grazing bullets * Erasing bullets Releases At this point, you may be wondering what a Release is. A Release is a circular field that spawns when you press the C button, as long as you have at least one charge on your Release Bar. Using a release uses up all of your Release Bar, and grows stronger the more charges are used up. As well, erasing bullets with a Release is the only way to increase point item value. As mentioned earlier, the season sub shot changes what the properties of your Release does. * Spring - Spring's Release has the shortest duration of the Releases, but has the largest range out of all of them, with a 6 charge Release clearing practically the entire screen. Additionally, this release temporarily makes you invincible. * Summer - Summer's Release is the second shortest Release, but has the unique property of only using up one charge per use instead of every charge. * Autumn - Autumn's Release creates a circle around you that follows you as you move, with the size of the circle decreasing over time. The more charges used slows down the size decrease. Along with this, for the duration of the Release, your movement speed is increased. * Winter - Winter's Release is the longest of the four seasonal Releases, creating a circle at the spot where you used the release. The more charges used up, the longer the Release lasts. As well, for the duration of the Release, the amount of damage you deal is increased. * Dog-Days/Border - The unique Release for the EX Stage. The shot itself fires backwards, and the Release combines aspects of the other Releases. Like Summer, Void only uses up one charge instead of all of them, creating a circle that quickly decreases in size like Autumn, and drifts backwards. *Scorefile has 100% completion Steam Release If you would like to support ZUN, you may buy HSiFS on Steam here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/745880/__Hidden_Star_in_Four_Seasons/. scoreth16.dat

Release Information Type: Fighter Developer: Team Shanghai Alice & Tasogare Frontier Publisher: Team Shanghai Alice & Tasogare Frontier Release: 2017 Language: Japanese Silhouette On Cover: Jo'on Yorigami and Shion Yorigami (Final Bosses) Character Information Playable Characters: 19 (Reimu, Marisa, Mokou, Nitori, Koishi, Ichirin, Futo, Byakuren, Miko, Mamizou, Kokoro, Shinmyoumaru, Kasen, Sumireko, Doremy, Tenshi, Yukari, Jo'on & Shion) Description With the Urban Legend incident still ongoing, a new urban legend comes into play; Perfect Possession. This phenomenon allows one person to take control over another person’s body. And of course, there exists those who seek to use this phenomenon for their own benefit… Unique Gameplay Mechanics Occult System Returning from Urban Legend in Limbo is the occult system. By pressing the Melee and Weak Attack buttons together, each character can unless their unique occult attacks. You can only do this while your occult meter (in the upper left/right of the screen) is active however. Last Words return as well, being activated by pressing the Strong Attack and Switch buttons together, with a full spellcard bar and a full occult bar. Pulling this off successfully deals massive damage, but using it makes it impossible to use Occult attacks or your Slave for the rest of the round. Master and Slave System By pressing the Switch button, you can tag out with your Slave character, or summon them to do an assist. Like the occult attacks, this can only be done while the occult meter is active, and also drains the occult meter while the Slave is active. While the Slave character is active, occult attacks cannot be used, but your health regenerates until there’s no white part of your health bar left. Slave characters can also add their own spellcards after a Master’s spellcard, by holding forward and pressing the Switch button during it while you have a full spellcard bar. The primary purpose of these patches is to make it so that the games have reduced input delay. Instructions on how to apply the patches is included, and instead of asking you to get the new EoSD dll file separately (as TouhouWiki does), we have included it here. However, these patches also come with the other following features: * Enables use of Ctrl to fast-forward replays in games before this was a thing. * Fixes display glitches in PCB Cherry values and UFO scores. * Option to select full-screen or windowed in games before this was a thing. * You can elect to fix the MoF Marisa B power glitch. * You can change the size of the games' windows in windowed mode. Pretty true to its name, this gives you an input display that you can drag around, and even customize a little. Since it reads from the game's memory rather than directly from your controller inputs, it can also show you replay inputs. It auto-detects any of the games it's compatible with when it's opened, so you don't need to connect it to anything or give it any information. The author acknowledges that the reason it doesn't have anything for the photography games by default is because those games don't map all the input values properly. Stuff You Can Customize > KeyUpImg: The image used for un-pressed keys. > KeyDownImg: The image used for keys being held down. > BGColor: The general background color of the window, which uses hex values. > Button positions are mapped to X/Y coordinates relative to the top-left of the window; the window will expand to fit things that have positive coordinates, so you can make your buttons as large as you want or customize where everything is however you like. (To remove a button from being able to be seen, you can just give it negative coordinates; it's programmed not to display anything with negative coordinates.) > The Address List lists per-line a game's executable name and the address of its input bit vector. You can add or remove as many entries as you like, as long as you make sure it will work. Valid addresses start with 0x, followed by 6-8 hex-digits. This allows compatibility with future games. This fixes full-screen issues in Classic Era games in Windows 10. Simply stick the folder's contents in the game's folder; to uninstall, just delete them. Specific things this can fix, among other things: * Fixes EoSD's unlimited framerate when in full-screen. * Fixes IaMP simply not working in full-screen. * Enables exclusive full-screen instead of Borderless windowed on Windows 10. * Enables compatibility with lots of screen-recording and streaming software (for example, OBS). * Enables compatibility with various third-party graphics tools (for example, MSI Afterburner and SweetFX). There's only one known issue in IaMP with character sprites being blurry due to poor sprite filtering. Support List: Th06 (EoSD), Th07 (PCB), Th07.5 (IaMP), Th08 (IN), Th09 (PoFV), Th09.5 (StB)

Source: https://github.com/David-JonesDVN/Touhou-Relauncher This is a tool that gives you a panel from which you can run any official game you've got, as well as offering support for adding your own entries to a different tab for fangames. Naturally, this does require you to tell the launcher where each and every one of your executables are, but that's about it for all the Windows games. (Entries on the official games tab go from being black and white to lighting up in color as you tell the launcher where each game is.) It's a bit fickle when it comes to the Retro Era games, as it can only be given a shortcut to Neko Project II (which is what will open when you click one of the retro games). It also has the ability to download and extract replays to the appropriate games' folders, having its own built-in browser that goes to Gensokyo.org, RoyalFlare.net, and ThReplays.BlogSpot.com for easy acquisition. If you don't like the button images, don't fret; you can check an option in the Settings tab for custom game images so you can assign your own button images! Instructions for how to format the pictures so that the launcher will read them properly are found in the Settings. Supports all official games up to WBaWC and any fangames you put on its Custom Games tab.

Release Information Type: Photography Developer: Team Shanghai Alice Publisher: Team Shanghai Alice Release: Reitaisai 7, on March 7, 2010 Language: English-Patched (ThCrap Self-Updating Standalone) Silhouette On Cover: Hatate Himekaidou (Rival Reporter) Character Information Playable Characters: 2 (Aya, Hatate) Shot Types: 2 Each (Landscape- and Portrait-oriented photos; press [Flip] to switch. Aya takes 4:3 photos, Hatate takes panoramic pics.) Description There's a new reporter in town - a newer, more modern reporter sporting a cell phone cam - and she's trying to steal Aya's scoops! Can Aya possibly put the word "friendly" before "rivalry," or will it end in all-out war? Unique Gameplay Mechanics Photograpy * As was Shoot the Bullet before it, DS is a photography game. Thus, everything listed in Shoot the Bullet's Unique Gameplay Mechanics section applies here; see that game's entry on the Classic Era page. However, there are also a few additions to take note of. Orientation Flip * In this game, you can flip the orientation of the shutter frame back and forth between Portrait and Landscape anytime you want by hitting the [X] key (aka [Flip]). Switching to Hatate * Once you clear the Spoiler 4 stage, you will unlock Hatate for play, who comes complete with a tutorial stage (S-5) that teaches you how she's different from Aya. Aside from her unique Spoiler stages, Hatate can try out any main-game stage Aya can play. To switch between Aya and Hatate on the Scene Select screen, hit the [C] key. The Differences Between Aya and Hatate * Recharge Speed: Hatate wins this one, hands-down. She charges at double Aya's speed. * Zoom Functionality: Aya is far more able to take pictures from a distance; Hatate's zoom function sucks awfully. * Starting Orientation: This is a tie, as you can pick anytime, but Aya starts in landscape, and Hatate starts in portrait. * Frame Size: This is also a matter of preference - Aya takes standard 4:3 photos, Hatate takes panoramic pics. These both have certain advantages and disadvantages, depending on who you're up against, although if you're concerned about defensive snapping, Aya can snap larger holes in swaths of bullets. Hey there, hold up a minute! Although this "game" is technically playable by itself, its primary function is that it is an expansion for Scarlet Weather Rhapsody. To unlock the entire roster of 20 characters for play, you must tell Soku where your copy of SWR is located. Instructions for how to do this can be found right below. Release Information Type: Fighting Publisher: Tasogare Frontier & Team Shanghai Alice Release: Comiket 76, August, 2009 Language: English-Patched (Gensokyo.org 1.1a) Silhouette On Cover: Cirno (Newly-Playable Character) Character Information Playable Characters: 20 (Reimu, Marisa, Sanae, Sakuya, Alice, Remilia, Youmu, Yuyuko, Reisen, Aya, Yukari, Patchouli, Suika, Komachi, Iku, Tenshi, Meiling, Cirno, Suwako, Utsuho) Description Three of our girls (Cirno, Meiling, and Sanae) have spotted a giant silhouette in the distance, and have decided they're going to figure out what it is. Character Information Playable Characters: 3 (Reimu, Marisa, Sanae) Shot Types: 2 Each Description There's an odd ship flying around up in the sky, and it's rumored to house treasure! Our girls eagerly fly off to investigate, as it's a win-win situation either way - either they get rich, or they discover and stop the scheme of whomever might be on board. For the first time in the series, new shrine maiden Sanae joins the quest, and it's become clear by now she becomes a regular. Unique Gameplay Mechanics UFOs * Certain enemies with UFO marks above their heads will drop little UFOs when defeated, which then start randomly floating around the screen. Some change colors as they fly around, others don't. * If you can collect 3 UFOs in a row of the same color, or one of each, doing so summons a large UFO that starts absorbing all onscreen items. If you let it fill itself up to capacity, you get an additional prize on top of what you get for shooting it down! Release Information Type: Bullet Hell Developer: Publisher: Zun Release: 2008 Language: English-Patched (ThCrap Self-Updating Standalone) Silhouette On Cover: Utsuho Reiuji (Final Boss) Character Information Playable Characters: 2 (Reimu, Marisa) Shot Types: 3 Each Description A geyser has erupted from the ground near the shrine. However, although Reimu would've been content to open a spa for the hot water it spews, it's also spitting out earth spirits, which is a problem. Reimu and Marisa don't know the way to old or new Hell, so they recruit an assistant (of your choice) and head down to stop the cause of the issue before it gets out of control. Unique Gameplay Mechanics Assistance * Picking your shot type is a complicated matter in this game, because not only are you choosing your method of fire, you're also picking your assistant, and your choice will provide you with some manner of added ability that will help you out. Pick wisely between your choices! -> Reimu with Yukari: If you're close to the edge of the screen, your shots wrap around, and you can also screen-wrap warp by letting go of all non-movement buttons (in other words, stop shooting or focusing) and double-tapping in an offscreen direction. (It'd be wise to make sure there aren't any bullets over there first!) -> Reimu with Suika: You can auto-collect all onscreen items simply by letting go of all non-movement buttons (again, just stop shooting and focusing for a moment). This is a great ability for newbies! -> Reimu with Aya: You gain a third ridiculously-fast level of movement; to activate this, let go of all non-movement buttons (once more, stop shooting and focusing). -> Marisa with Alice: You can bring your Power level all the way up to 8.0, which allows more firepower and more liberal bomb usage. -> Marisa with Patchouli: You can change the formation of your option orbs by pressing [Fire] & [Focus] simultaneously. In cycle order, Fire formation is forward-focused, Water is for area coverage, Wood takes care of strange angles, Metal fires sideways, and Earth fires backward - if you know the game and its bosses really well, this gives you all the options you could possibly need, and you can annihilate everything in no time flat. -> Marisa with Nitori: Instead of acting like a bomb usually does, your bomb is instead a defense barrier, which allows you to take a hit while it's up, which consumes its energy. Our smart kappa has installed an additional feature - if it turns out you didn't need it, then the energy normally used to protect you is returned to you - you are reimbursed half the original cost. Bombs Cost Power Levels * In Mountain of Faith and Subterranean Animism, there are no Bomb (Spell Card) items, nor is there a Bomb count. Instead, you consume 1 power level to bomb in these two titles - be careful of your bomb usage. Scorefile * This scorefile was provided by Dark Kijin. * It has 100% Extra availability, but it's only cleared with Reimu A and B. * Game clearance is spotty, with only Normal being cleared by all characters and shot types. Easy is only missing Reimu C, but there's next to no clears on Hard or Lunatic. -> You can help get this scorefile to 100%! If you have a scorefile which improves upon the progress in this existing file, please submit it to us! Release Information Type: Fighting Developer: Team Shanghai Alice & Tasogare Frontier Publisher: Team Shanghai Alice & Tasogare Frontier Release: Reitaisai 5, on May 28, 2008 Language: English-Patched (Gensokyo.org 1.1) Silhouette On Cover: Tenshi Hinanawi (Final Boss) Character Information Playable Characters: 15 (Reimu, Marisa, Sakuya, Alice, Remilia, Youmu, Yuyuko, Reisen, Aya, Yukari, Patchouli, Suika, Komachi, Iku, Tenshi) Description An earthquake has flattened the Hakurei Shrine. However, even more unusual than that, strange and unseasonable weather has literally been following our girls around - for example, wherever Reimu goes, it's sunny; where Marisa goes, it drizzles - the list goes on. This afflicts all the initially playable girls on the roster (13), who investigate the incident. Unique Gameplay Mechanics Spell Card Deck * No, you're right, this is a fighting game, but your moveset is, in part, determined by a new addition called the Spell Card Deck system, which is also used in Hisoutensoku. * You can have 1 deck per character (4 in Hisoutensoku), consistent of 20 cards, and these are customizable in your profile on the Options menu. Craft your decks any way you want. * As you fight, your character will automatically draw from the selected deck. There are 3 kinds of cards, signified by their border color: -> Spell Cards (Yellow) perform the girl's Spell Card magic, in a style most fighting game players would call a Super. -> Skill Cards (Gray) enhance or change the girls' standard directional-button moves for more power or versatility. -> System Cards (Red) perform special functions, such as changing the weather, or gaining immunity from attacks. Weather * Weather conditions (which are character-related in Story Mode, but are randomly generated in all multiplayer matches) each have a specific effect on gameplay. Some enhance or restrict certain kinds of attacks, where others may have more unusual effects, such as making it harder to move in particular directions or changing the distance between the combatants randomly. Knowing your attack options is always good, but being able to improvise when the weather changes could be the difference between victory or defeat. Scorefile * This scorefile was acquired from Koumakan.jp, and is essentially the quasi-official scorefile used for unlocks. * It unlocks Iku and Tenshi. * It also provides 4 copies of every card in the game so you can build decks more easily. Release Information Type: Bullet Hell Developer: Team Shanghai Alice Publisher: Team Shanghai Alice Release: Comiket 72, on August 17, 2007 Language: English-Patched (ThCrap Self-Updating Standalone) Silhouette On Cover: Kanako Yasaka (Final Boss) Character Information Playable Characters: 2 (Reimu, Marisa) Shot Types: 3 Each Description Reimu's shrine isn't exactly frequented by Gensokyo's residents, so faith in the shrine's deity has been declining. One day, Reimu hears a strange voice that tells her she should close the shrine's doors for good - a message she doesn't take very well. Seeing that there's a new shrine on top of Youkai Mountain, complete with its own lake, she deduces that the one responsible lives there, and heads on up. Unique Gameplay Mechanics Faith System * To really get anywhere point-wise in this game, keeping in convention with the idea behind the game's story, you must show faith in your ability to play the game. How do you do that? Hitting/killing enemies and collecting items are the ways you can fill the Faith Gauge. * The longer you can maintain the Faith Gauge, the more points everything is worth (which is a ton of help for earning Extends in this game). * If the gauge empties due to you stopping killing anything or collecting items, you gradually start losing Faith Points. If you die, you lose half your total Faith value (because dying shows a lack of belief in yourself). Bombs Cost Power Levels * In Mountain of Faith and Subterranean Animism, there are no Bomb (Spell Card) items, nor is there a Bomb count. Instead, you consume 1 power level to bomb in these two titles - be careful of your bomb usage. Release Information Types: Bullet Hell Photography Developer: Team Shanghai Alice Publisher: Team Shanghai Alice Release: Comiket 69, on December 30, 2005 Language: English-Patched (ThCrap Self-Updating Standalone) Silhouette On Cover: Aya Shameimaru (Sole Playable Character) Character Information Playable Characters: 1 (Aya) Shot Types: 1 (Landscape-Oriented Photos) Description Bunbunmaru Newspaper reporter Aya Shameimaru is out looking for a scoop. Playing as Aya, you will find plenty of interesting Gensokyo girls to look into. Unique Gameplay Mechanics Why Photography? Doesn't She Shoot? * I don't shoot, I snap. This is Aya's basic principle when going out for a scoop - you will immediately notice there's no possible way to actually fire back at the enemies. This isn't because Aya is incapable of an offensive (one play of PoFV would disprove that theory); rather, the storyline reason provided is that she simply doesn't want her own bullets to appear in her photos. Indeed, she's not interested in actually defeating her subjects - she's out for a scoop, not a battle. * The way unlocking new Levels works is, Aya wants a particular number of photos of each spell card (each Scene), ranging from 3 early on in the game, to as many as 10 for particularly interesting girls late in the game. Meet Aya's quota, and she'll declare victory on her own; just clear enough scenes overall, or a quota of scenes specifically from the previous Level, and you will unlock a new Level to investigate. Charging & Snapping * Aya's camera must be fully-charged to 100% in order to snap a picture with it. It'll charge at a slow rate on its own regardless of your movement speed, but if you can find a good safe spot, you can have Aya dedicate additional energy to charging it faster: -> Hold [Shift] to Focus, which will slow her down, and display her hitbox. -> Hold [Shift] AND Snap [Z] to force Aya to quite nearly a full stop to dedicate all her available energy to charging the camera as fast as possible. * Once the camera's charged, you must let go of the Focus button, then press and hold Snap [Z] to bring up the viewfinder. You can move the frame around a bit before you release the button to snap the picture, but the longer you expose the film, the smaller the frame gets - if you expose it too long, it becomes overexposed, and Aya is forced to drop the picture entirely. Snapping for Success * Aya's main aim is to photograph the girl herself (the boss), although anything Aya considers "beautiful" is also permitted and encouraged to be in the photo as well; she considers the bullets, other targets, and of course herself, to be beautiful. * However, if the photo does not at least capture the boss, Aya will not hesitate to drop the photo, declaring your pathetic attempt a "Failure." * If you do capture the boss in the photo, then Aya bothers to record the shot, and it gets pinned to the wall outside the playfield. She'll also check the logistics of the picture, including where the boss is in the frame, as well as awarding bonuses for snapping beautiful bullet patterns, beautiful spell circles, and also her beautiful self, if you can squeeze her in there somewhere. Snapping for Defense * Since Aya refuses to return fire, and will not use her spell cards, your camera also becomes your means of defense. So when you're out there snapping pictures, you must think of your camera's defensive properties. Any bullets you capture in a photo are cleared from the screen, and moreover, they're converted to additional camera-charging energy. If the shot is a Failure (and chances are, most defensive snaps are probably Failures), Aya won't need extra energy to record the shot - energy gain from bullets is double for Failure shots, meaning you can be up in that girl's face again in no time. Scorefile * This scorefile was provided by Drizzle. * It has true 100% completion status, meaning that all stages are both available and cleared. Th09.5 (StB) Scorefile [Drizzle].zip

Release Information Type: Versus Bullet Hell Developer: Team Shanghai Alice Publisher: Team Shanghai Alice Year: Comiket 68, on August 14, 2005 Language: English-Patched (ThCrap Self-Updating Standalone) Silhouette On Cover: Shikieiki Yamaxanadu (Final Boss) Character Information Playable Characters: 16 (Reimu, Marisa, Sakuya, Youmu, Reisin, Cirno, Lyrica, Merline, Lunasa, Mystia, Tewi, Aya, Medicine, Yuuka, Komachi, Shikieiki) Description Flowers blooming is normal for springtime. However, far more flowers are blooming this year than is natural. In fact, all four seasons' flowers are blooming simultaneously, plus an overabundance of poisonous higanbana! Naturally, this attracts a lot of attention, being observable by anyone; the unnatural flower season has convinced an entire 14 of our girls that something is wrong and needs to be dealt with. Unique Gameplay Mechanics Charge Type One look at the Options screen and you'll discover there are two different settings offered for the functionality of your Focus button. * Charge Mode: You must tap [Z] repeatedly to fire, because holding it charges your Battle Gauge attacks. This mode exists to allow you to hold [Shift] to slow yourself down and display your Scope. * Slow Mode: You can hold [Z] to fire continuously, and it will also both slow you down and display your Scope. This way, the [Shift] button is exclusive to charging your Battle Gauge attacks. The Battle Gauge and Its Usage * You start each match with 1 full level on your Battle Gauge. However, that isn't enough to send any attacks to your opponent's side (although it is enough to help deal with enemies on your own side; see below). * Extend your Battle Gauge by defeating enemies and grazing bullets. Dying will also extend your gauge one or more levels. * Your Battle Gauge holds up to 4 levels (and it will alert you when it's hit a new level you can use). * If you charge 1 level of your gauge and release, your character performs a Charge Attack against enemies on your own side of the field that is more powerful than their regular bullets - most even have special properties (for example, Reimu's amulets will home, and Youmu's sword can destroy bullets). -> Using a Charge Attack does not deplete your Gauge, so you can use them all you like. -> You cannot use a Charge Attack if you've got less than one full level on your gauge, but the only way to make that happen is by using a Bomb; see below. * If you charge 2 or 3 levels of your gauge and release, you will use a Spell Card on your opponent's side of the field! Doing this costs the level you charged to minus one. * If you charge all 4 levels of your gauge and release, you send them a boss battle to sweat out. As above, doing this costs the level you charged to minus one. Other Ways to Attack Your Opponent Aside from spell cards, there are 3 other ways you can cause your opponent's field to go from being more or less manageable, to a living hell: * Kill enemies. Anything you destroy, including small bullets you wipe out with the little explosions made by their deaths, goes to your opponent's side as one extra bullet each. * Combos. You can cause chain reactions by shooting the first enemy in a line, and can combo kills if they're made withing a certain time of your previous kill. The higher the combo you rack up, the more misery you send your opponent's way. * Bomb. Using a Bomb costs you your entire Battle Gauge, but it sends the maximum available attack over to your opponent instantly. Unfortunately for you, since this puts you under one full level, you can't use any Charge Attacks for a while as your gauge rebuilds. Since using a Bomb uses a Spell Card, you must have at least 2 levels available to be able to use a Bomb. Scopes and Spirits * Spirits float down toward you with all the bullets and fairies; some are small and easily destroyed, while others are larger and take more of a beating. * Destroying spirits causes a small explosion that can destroy nearby bullets. * You can use your Scope to capture spirits, which enables you to more or less deliberately place spirits where you want them (this is why it's important to know the shape and nature of your character's Scope). Don't dawdle too long after tagging a spirit with your Scope, though, because if you do, it'll start drifting back up, and eventually explode into bullets! Scorefile * This scorefile was provided by an unknown source. * It unlocks Komachi and Shikieiki for all modes. * It unlocks the Prismriver sisters for Match Play. * Extra is available for everyone. * It is cleared on Normal ("Narcissus") with everyone except Shiki. -> You can help get this scorefile to 100%! Release Information Type: Bullet Hell Developer: Team Shanghai Alice Publisher: Team Shanghai Alice Release: Comiket 67, on December 30, 2004 Language: English-Patched (ThCrap Self-Updating Standalone) Silhouette On Cover: Kaguya Houraisan (Final Boss B) Character Information Playable Characters: 8 (4 selections as teams of two - Reimu & Yukari, Marisa & Alice, Youmu & Yuyuko, and Sakuya & Remilia; later on, characters become selectable individually once unlocked.) Shot Types: 1 Each (So 2 when playing as a team.) POC: Focus-Activated before Max Power; Always On after Max Power is attained. Description The real moon has been replaced with a fake the night before the Harvest Moon Festival! The girls know the gravity of this situation - the moon carries more importance than simply being the subject of the festival. However, they've only got a single night to resolve the issue, so they've created teams in an attempt to expedite the investigation as much as possible. Our girls hurry, knowing time is of the essence, but can they resolve this incident in time? Unique Gameplay Mechanics Time * This game's story is time-intensive; the game begins at 11 PM, and if it becomes 5 AM at any point, the game is immediately over, even if you had additional lives left over after having successfully cleared a stage. Thus, you don't want to run out of time to investigate the incident. * Continues cost half an hour each. * Time generally advances 1 hour at the conclusion of each stage. However, if you meet the Time Point quota for the stage by collecting Time Orbs, which you normally earn by killing enemies, then time only advances half an hour at the end of that stage, which frees up enough time for one additional Continue. Although killing enemies is the default way to earn orbs, it isn't the only possible way; you can earn more ways to get orbs - see below. * If you never meet any quotas, you have enough time for exactly one Continue. Human/Youkai (H/Y) Teams * Unfocused fire comes from the team's human, and focused fire comes from the team's youkai. * The H/Y Gauge at the bottom-left of the playfield tracks your recent firing trends, and awards you a bonus if you've mostly been firing as one type recently; thus, you can work toward one bonus or the other to suit the situation you're in. -> 80% Human or More: You start earning Time Orbs just for hitting enemies; you start earning orbs gradually the entire time you're causing damage to enemies or bosses. -> 80% Youkai or More: You start earning Time Orbs for grazing; all grazes become worth saved time. * The H/Y Gauge is also pushed toward Human or Youkai by which character collects the Time Orbs. * Some enemies can summon spirits to assist them. Humans can shoot and defeat spirits, but Youkai shots go right through them. Spirits are worth massive Time Orb bonuses. Last Spell Cards * All main bosses of each stage have a Last Spell, but they don't normally use it. If you meet the Time Point quota by the end of the fight, then they'll use it against you. If you earn the right to face off against a Last Spell, while fighting it, you will be unable to Bomb, but getting hit won't result in loss of life or time (although it will cost you the spell card; you won't capture it). If you beat it, you get more Time Orbs and a boost to your score. * The player also has Last Spells! This game lets you deathbomb more easily than other games in the series, but this comes at a cost of an extra bomb (2 instead of 1). When this happens, the character's teammate jumps in and uses a stronger version of their normal Spell Card. Scorefile * This scorefile was originally acquired from an unknown source. It was then improved upon by Dark Kijin, and the spell card collection completion was brought to 100% by Drizzle. * It has 100% Extra availability, and more notably, 100% spell card availability in Spell Card Practice. * [Difficulty-Character clearance is under review, but is not 100%.] -> You can help get this scorefile to 100%! It isn't exactly a problem by itself, but since nobody knows what it is or where it came from, everyone tends to be suspicious of each other during the feast, which hasn't made it a very fun event these past few years. This year, the girls are determined to figure out the cause of this weird mist so that everyone can have a good time at the feast. This is making things unseasonably cold in Gensokyo - it feels like winter! However, when the girls go to investigate, they discover that the hidden objective behind this tree's revival may threaten Gensokyo even more than the chill already in effect... Unique Gameplay Mechanics Cherry Points * In this game, you can collect springtime energy, which is measured in Cherry Points. * Killing enemies while unfocused will get you more Cherry Points than if you're focused, but you can also collect Cherry Point Items to make the process go faster. Supernatural Border * If your CP reaches +50,000, the collected energy activates a Supernatural Border. * This border protects you from one hit until your Cherry value reaches 0 again; at that point, whether you ended up needing it or not, it disappears. * If you take a hit with a border up, it will wipe out all onscreen bullets. * If you don't take damage with your border up, you're awarded a sizable Border Bonus for managing to keep your border until its natural expiration. Increasing Point Value * The yellow number to the left of the slash (for example, 96530/100000) indicates how many points you get from Point Items when they're collected at the top of the screen. *Scorefile has 100% completion status. scoreth07.dat
