  1. 10.5 = Scarlet Weather Rhapsody 12.3 = Hisoutensoku 12.3 can use 10.5s roster if you direct it to the 10.5 install. So they share the engine. 13.5 is Uban Legend in Limbo, the latest fighter, i believe
  2. "Did you have any plans to do while it was this endless night? or did you just want to assert dominance?" Another stone appears on the board without much in the way of motion from the man. 3. I'd rather be able to read any language. Infinite-lingualism is pretty high up on my list of superpowers/wishes to get, especially if it comes with all the social references for each culture the languages come from. Would you rather find yourself in gensokyo, or create the next touhou game/story?
  4. "Sounds tiring. What'd you wish for in the end?" The man coaxes a cup of tea from the air after placing a stone, placing it near Mima's side of the board before finding another in the ether for himself. A look of confusion crosses his face as he sips a bit. "I was told vanilla caramel, but this seems more cinnamon sugar than caramel..." 5. Hand feed Kanako's snakes. Getting in good with a harvest god (the snake) would be rather useful... even if it does cost a literal arm and leg. Would you rather meet Reimu or Komachi as their work assignment?
  6. "How was the competition a fraud if they still gave out the prize?" The man's brow furrows a bit with the question, lightening as he places the next stone. "Sounds legitimate enough, although a bit showy. I'd think that the wish out performs any display of power, given that they had to grant it to you and not manifest from yourself..." 7. Looks like it's specific to new topics?
  8. "Quite a bit of violence for such little provocation. Although I suppose 2 years of deathly boredom can do that." The man places another stone while chiding Mima's story along. 9. Dont most Z inputs accept a backwards quarter-circle, 8th forward circle? (not sure most z-moves I attempt I use a keyboard for and then it just becomes a dance between down and forward that's fairly easy.) also iirc IaMP is just super finicky in even it's most basic controls whenever I tried it. I wouldn't use it's setup to judge SWR, as the latter is much more fluid and intuitive.
  10. "Couldn't hurt to know more about who you're playing against. If you'll indulge us with a story I'd be grateful, although..." The specter summons another stone. "There's always the option to make new ones." A playful smirk crosses the man's face as a plain katana in a black wooden sheath fades into existence at his side, leaning against the fountains stonework. 11. The man apperates a stone onto the board while chiding Mima. "For someone with such an interesting path you sure do deflect conversations a lot." 12. Side character? I guess Kasen Ibaraki? I really need to do more research on the side characters/stories... I probably just need to do more research in general. I'm still on Hisoutensoku for most lore...
  13. "Who wasn't?" The man smirks a bit as he places the next stone. "Shame to lose that though. Recklessness can keep things interesting through the humdrum." 14. I'm part of the old guard? sheesh time flies. I'd like to help illuminate things, but I doubt I'll be able to... If I can find a way back to the old forums I technically have the ability to access them and dig up info, but it's looking like it got shut down finally, might just be double buried though. I'm unaware of the specifics of Ace's retirement, by the time I was regularly active on the older forums most moderators & admins were barely online, actually got most privileges by offering to take over duties so I could use some of the features without having to drag people in from their lives as often. I'm also pretty foreign to the discord server & live chats that proceeded it, never could quite keep up with the pacing of those chats. I will say that, in my experience, a live chat kills most forums. Once you have instant notifications and full support for images with hundreds of eyes on it, there's not much of a need for heavily archived content. Even if this could serve the same functions as the discord there's a feeling of gatedness on here due to the way posts are submitted and displayed. It feels more like posting a notice than throwing out a thought. Since most people just want a place to chat and discuss, there's not much need for the notices and a lot more of a need for the quick pacing on discord servers. (might be going a bit cyclic now.) I've watched 2 forums lay vacant in preference to group chats, and even this one is mostly kept going by the constant influx of new users and the oodles of social media features implemented on it compared to most forums. Technically I'm pretty sure that @jssf1992 was on the old forum before me, I forget on the exact ordering of things, but I'd wager Jmonkey was as well.
