Is there a way to use the english patches/translations in the steam version of the games?

I want to get into the Touhou series, and during my research I found out that all the main games starting from 10 onward are available on steam, so I was wondering if I can download the english patches/translations and apply them to the steam versions.

You'll want to download thcrap from thpatch.net and use it to set up the translation patch.
