Neko Project emulator - assistance required

I'm setting up the neko project PC-98 emuator. It was all going fine, until step 3, where the torturial says to 'hold down the END key' in order to get to the next screen.

I've tried this and nothing happens. Do how know how long I need to press the key for, anyway? If you could tell me an alternate way to reach that screen, or otherwise figure what the problem is, that would be great.

you sure you didnt hold the esc key instead?? but if you dont, you probably havent reset the emulator first. try holding down for 5 seconds.

I got it this time thanks, I didn't realise I had to press it immediately after resetting.
