Phantasmoria of Dim. Dream plays Zunsoft opening, then immediately crashes

Then it goes to a black screen. Typing "game" lets it attempt to reboot, but with the same result. Is it an issue with me or a download?

ah... are you using nekoproject 2? if you are, then follow this steps
Emulate > Reset while holding "End" key until config screen appears > select second option (ディップスイッチ２の設定) > Set GDC to 2.5 MHz
