A boss rush game featuring Kokoro as the main character while performing in front of an audience. There doesn't appear to be much public footage left online since everyone did not save their NicoNico livesteam playthroughs, through people on Twitter did post screenshots and their feedback. However, it appears this that NullPointerWorks did not consign this game digitally though sites like DLsite, thus this game has become hard to obtain without getting a physical disc.

Rei Links 

What happened? It was Reimu 17.5 then for a few months it was Reisen Sakurajima and then it became Rei Links.

Feels must easier to tell which information is going to for each entry.

We should also fix the capitalization for the headers such as "Lost found other media". It should be "Lost Other Media" which not only follows standard English capitalization rules, but also makes the headers look different from description.

Aside from these suggestions, just more consistent formatting needs to be applied to the rest of the list. Otherwise, good work with working to include format work with the list. Presentation of information is as important as the information itself!

Well at one point I think I had a copy of Corrupted Memory on my old HDD that was used in my first PC which sadly the disk of that drive shattered. At least I think I had it as the video looks just like what it was like to play.

I might of had it on a USB I have lying around but don't get your hopes up

 

Edit: I do however have a song called "Terrible Mixing" that is instrumental cover of Last Remote if you are interested in that as I can't seem to find anything on it

Yes, that long title describes a Touhou academic talk by Brenda Marina Ayala Estrada, coming from the National Autonomous University of Mexico, who gave this talk at "Squid Game" & Beyond, a hybrid international conference about the impact of Squid Game. 
The relation of the Touhou talk to Squid Game seems to be on the impact of video games on Asian cultures based on the talk's placement on the schedule for Panel 112: Video Games.

As for traces of this conference, the best I can find is a video by Bloomfield Public Library, which records the first day of the conference. But I have skimmed through that video multiple times and I could not see anything for a Touhou talk, so unless I missed something in skimming through the recording, this academic talk is lost media.

I WAS ABLE TO GET AoRY 0.05!

The author responded to me and provided several builds of the game! All of them are raw and unfinished, so take note.

• Controls

Alt+Enter - windowed and fullscreen modes;
L - starts the level. Or rather, turns off the "Internal level counter". You need to press it once!
F - moves the boss to the next attack/spell card;
ScrollLock - turns immortality on/off;
Esc - exit the game.

There are even cheats:
Q - +10 power
W - -10 power
C - all bullets are turned into stars
V - all enemies are killed/boss killed (if no enemies)
F - next spell of boss!
P - start the stage from the beginning (doesnt destroy objects, only resets stage values)
L - stops/unstops stage timer
1-2-3-4-5-6 - ranA-ranB-yukariA-yukariB-chenA-chenB
7-8-9-0 - easy-normal-hard-lunatic
F1-F6 - stage1..6;
F7 - extra stage;
F8 - invincibility off/on
F9 - turns on/off interface background
F11 - shows collision areas instead of sprites
B - creates empty boss (meaningless for you)

Changing levels, difficulties and characters with attack types does not work! According to the author, he did not implement it.

A few more words about AoRY 0.05.
To play the AoRY 0.08 and Last Version - AoRY stage1 no boss builds, you need to press the L button, and the level will start.
I think that's all for AoRY 0.05.

Zun once made a level in Super Mario Maker, but now it is no longer downloadable, since the editor's servers were closed...

I have decided to go through Sshiori's blog starting from 2010 as way to pass time. I have recently uncovered that from May 2009 to May 2011 that the 月刊ナイトバグ was published on the web for free. This monthly magazine gathered a compilation of art, comics, and writings from multiple people similar to other fan magazines like Another Dream. Of course, what makes 月刊ナイトバグ stand out was that it focused only one character, Wriggle Nightbug.

What makes 月刊ナイトバグ lost media is how Axfc is terrible at getting files to download when it comes to older files served on their platform. Most of the time, the Axfc will have the file request hang, but sometimes Axfc works suddenly, and the file will be downloaded.

There is a trick with changing the subdomains as shown in this website, which sometimes works. Sometimes, of course. Here is another list of Axfc subdomains:

Another solution is to try contacting to the people who participated in 東方蛍光祭 or 幻想郷ほたる祭り to see if they have any copies of the magazine left as the newer Wriggle magazines were inspired from the existing Wriggle magazine of 2009-2011.

月刊ナイトバグ Update

The organizer behind 月刊ナイトバグ was 神楽丼, who now goes by サラマンダ under the Twitter handle of @hopstep3. Currently trying to into contact by the email posted on his Twitter bio to see if 月刊ナイトバグ can be republished. Now, while I wait to see if I can contact @hopstep3, I have some more content relating to 月刊ナイトバグ.

 

The final issue of 月刊ナイトバグ released with an visual novel game called リグルイ1.5, created by 妄想エリクシル who also created Wrigglui, a visual novel that featured multiple versions of Wriggle Nightbug. This was included as a separate download to the May 2011 issue as another Axfc link, though this link only leads to a 404 error. The best documentation about リグルイ1.5 left online can be seen in this sshirori post, featuring a bookshelf of every issue of 月刊ナイトバグ and screenshots for リグルイ1.5.

 

まんがイースタン

It turns out after 月刊ナイトバグ was finished, this same organizer organized more Touhou web magazines in the form of まんがイースタン. This series of magazines took the same format as まんがイースタン, but instead focused on a different Touhou character for each issue. In addition, each issue had survey about the works in the magazine, though these contents of these surveys are unknown as the link are now inoperable.

After seeing Denist’s Lost Media Touhou video, I felt inspired from his visual showcase of several pieces of Lost Media, so I looked at the Lost Media List once more. Enjoy the findings!

 

ZUN’s Super Mario Maker Level

As one of the few people that owns an actual Wii U and a copy of SMM1, seeing this SMM1 level was a bit of a shock to me as there was a massive SMM1 level archive on IA online already.

Except, that archive doesn’t really give a guide on how to import those levels on SMM1, so here is a little guide on how to play ZUN’s level on either emulator or Wii U.

 

Steps to get ZUN’s Super Mario Maker 1 Stage

Level Name: ZUN - sky stage

Level ID: 8192-0000-02CE-AA88

 

1. Have a SMM1 save on PC via Cemu or exported from the Wii U. Right click SMM1 on Cemu to find save directory.

2. Make sure there are some saved levels in the save to replace with the downloaded level.

3. Download HerobrineTV’s SMM1 Level Downloader on Github

4. Search up the level by name or ID. Turn on “Exact Search” to speed up search.

5. Copy & paste the downloaded level folder into SMM1 save folder

6. Play on Cemu or import the save back on the Wii U.

That what I did to play this level on an actual Wii U as seen in the above photo. By the way, this level made me felt a tinge of “routing” as I had to figure out consistent ways to avoid the fire bars and dodge the magikoopas’ assault. Pretty fitting for ZUN.

There was nothing I could find by online searches, so I instead looked into the name. CAPITULO means chapter in Spanish. “Touhoupardy” is likely a combination of Jeopardy and Touhou, fitting with the Gensokyo TV framing.

I don’t have anything on the video itself, but I do have some related records dealing with kuroisakura1000. They had a deviantart account, but the account was deleted and IA doesn’t have anything noteworthy saved. There are some Nico Nico reuploads of their Walfas videos from searching up kuroisakura1000 on Nico Nico, but none are about Donations Please.

This video is simply a 1:36 reupload of橙の幻想郷音頭 by the animation circle 東方活動写真館. Now in my opinion, there isn’t really a need to have this on the list since the animation東方活動写真館 are very popular with Touhou fans, to the point they have been illegally uploaded online multiple times over across multiple online video websites.

Of course, since their animations were originally released at Touhou doujin events as physical DVDs, a more legal method to obtain the animation is to buy secondhand stores online.

The last finding once again relates to my exploration on sshiori’s blog, with the website 永遠亭訪問委員会. It’s an artist website that all about Eientei featuring art, animation, doujinshi, and a character guide. More interesting is it hosted multiple versions of a game called 永遠亭訪問ゲーム that was about living in Eientei and chating with its inhabitants. See the NND video for gameplay footage.

Now, the game was first developed on Flash then changed Java for farther updates. The flash version is still available online, but the flash version tries to call on missing files, rendering the game unplayable. As for the Java version, it is unavailable as the Javascript file for the game cannot be found be the web site.

There was also a downloadable Java version released in 2015 though a Twitter post as browsers lost support for Java applets. Unfortunately, the link in the Twitter post is no longer online and IA has nothing useful archived.

The closest lead I have so far on the Java version is Twitter user @nochrom, who has made multiple tweets about playing 永遠亭訪問ゲーム up until 2019. Unless this contact goes somewhere, the java version of 永遠亭訪問ゲーム is lost media.
