Description

Three protagonists and three stories

E.E.R.I.E is a game based on Touhou project . The three protagonists are Daiyousei,Kijin Seija,Ringo. They have their own special skills and attributes. Different from the general multi protagonist game, each protagonist has her own mission goal, factional relationship and stories. In addition, the three protagonists are hostile to each other.

Realistic and rich weapon system

E.E.R.I.E has a huge arsenal including pistols, submachine guns, small caliber assault rifles, medium caliber MG, sniper rifles, shotguns and grenade launchers. Most of their are based on excellent military light weapons designed and produced around the world in reality. In addition, there is also the most realistic and rich firearms customization system in the current animation style games. While the firearms can be deeply customized, they can also be loaded with ammunition of different purposes. With various throwing objects, the combination of shooting technology and tactical strategy will become closer.

Definitely in a very early state of development as each 'story' only takes about 30-40 minutes each on the hardest difficulty selectable, but the novelty of a tactical shooter with touhou characters, coupled with the large sandbox and arsenal available is too fun to ignore :)

i completed the game now here is my review:

  1. daiyousei mission are rigged it doesnt even work
  2. save cirno my ass you will only get the bad ending
  3. seija have a stupid boss fight that require you to have 40+ frags
  4. stupid game
  5. and moon rabbit mission are stupid easy
  6. fuck this shit
  7. its is pure shit
  8. but i recommend it
  9. go buy it and have fun shooting down a reimu hitbox drone from the sky
  10. fuck every shit existing in this game it is shit
  11. just like m,y grammer its shit
    i like shit if you are with my go play the game yourself 
    i rate this game half a fumo out of 10

This game has a lot of potential for a sandbox game, too bad it was already released like that (unfinished), apparently it has mod support as intended, but wasn't available

This is surprisingly lightweight in terms of file size & ram usage which I really like it

The english translation was barely understandable though (I guess they tried lol)

The difficulty could've been something like this: (Idk if the NPC's AI should also improve as difficulty increases)

  • Arcade - Receive less damage, can save anywhere (including changing maps & payphones)
  • Easy - Receive normal damage, can save only from payphones or travelling to different map
  • Normal - Receive high/realistic damage, can save only from payphones or travelling to different map
  • Hard - Receive high/realistic damage, can save only from travelling to different map
  • Lunatic - Receive high/realistic damage, saving disabled/lose progress on death

Daiyousei's ability is buggy as heck, if you mark all targets, then change to different map, the markings will persist unless you die or re-load the map/save

NPCs AI are kinda janky, you can exploit their AI to use it against them, bosses are basically bullet-sponges or walking-tanks and abusing their AI is the only way to beat them, would've been great if their health is equal to the player, but has good AI (can dodge, take cover, etc-etc.)

I wouldn't recommend buying it on steam, as the price isn't worth it for a sandbox game that only had few amount of objective added to it with extremely short gameplay (would've been great with mod support), basically this is like Ravenfield (with 'Mercenary Online' gameplay), but has no mod support, it would be only good if the price was based on the game's content & gameplay, but both doesn't match unfortunately, and good thing I tried playing it from this site. To summarize (TL;DR), this game was basically like a demo, too short for a price that big.
Edit: Changed my mind on this after seeing this post, this is a good move

The criticism given in the steam version basically summarizes my problems I had with the game

I checked Ureasoft in steam, I saw there was E.E.R.I.E 2, I hope it has more content and add things that the first game never had, too bad it's not gonna be lightweight anymore

This is accurate asf lmao

As for #3, this is correct if you're doing 'Normal' mode (hardest diff), but if you're doing 'Arcade' mode (easiest diff), you can simply bring 4-6 meds and then beat the shit out of him with kicks (hold 'switch weapon' to unequip weapon for melee mode) also using bullet reversal ability helps too

Also initiating a melee attack will stop you from moving, but if you want to do it while moving, simply do a flying kick (Sprint > Jump > Kick mid-air), kicking an enemy is forgiving since it simply spawns a hitbox around you which makes you hit them even if you kick in any direction, as long as you're near the enemy when doing a melee attack

Edit: Discovered exploits

  1. Camera-clipping - Since the game is mainly 3rd-person shooter, the camera will be behind the player's shoulder, which means if you walk near the wall, the camera clips inside, if the camera itself already gives you the advantage to peek behind walls, this exploit will give you more advantage to peek through walls
  2. Wall-banging (regardless of bullet have piercing ability or not) - bullet comes out of the gun's barrel, but you can clip your gun through by simply sticking through a wall and aiming towards enemies behind the wall, instead of the bullet hitting the front wall, the bullet will come out behind the wall, giving you advantage to safely hit the enemy without getting hit back, this is gives you big advantage against bosses
  3. Wall-banging kick - Initiating a melee attack (kicking), the player will spawn a large hitbox, which will hit enemies even if you're behind them, you can do this through walls as well, as long as the enemy is near your hitbox regardless of wall's thickness, you will still be able to hit them through walls
  4. High-jumping - This game's physics is fucky (idk if the physics was from Unity, or custom-made by player), if you jump while moving towards a ledge (small rock, debris, box (prop or not), props, car, wall, floor bump, etc-etc.), sliding forward and/or jumping through them will launch you above slightly far (depends on your speed), requires timing depends on the size of the ledge, helps you bypass obstacles inside the map, through it's very useless against invisible walls when trying to go out-of-bounds

  • Any - Dark Brown (1st - House near path to Museum | 2nd - Behind the Apartment | 3rd - Behind both house & fence)
