Description

Toho Invaders is a two dimensional fixed vertical shooting game and based upon Space Invaders, an arcade video game developed by Tomohiro Nishikado and released in 1978 by Taito. Toho Invaders has no specific storyline, it's a pure shooting game where high scores are the main objective. The player controls Reimu Hakurei or Marisa Kirisame moving them horizontally across the bottom of the screen and firing at descending fairies. If they reach the bottom, the fairies' attack is successful and the game ends. A special bigger enemy will occasionally move across the top of the screen and award bonus points if destroyed. Each stage has a boss and the game will continue to the next stage if the player manages to destroy her.
