The BMG and Pause Menu scripts are broken, please fix it

Game is great if you like the pichuun sound. Fun to play, with a better UFO mechanic. Only downside is that it's unnecessarily brutal. I'm aware that the game takes place in hell, but Stage 4 has a Boundary of Wave and Particle set of nonspells and cheap shots. Along with it, Stage 5 has some cheap patterns in the spell as well. Stage 6 boss was only fair because of spirits swarming the battlefield to assist you.

Anybody have an English patch?

Hello, I am having an issue with this download. It might just be on my end, but the file thbgm.dat refuses to extract (in its entirety). Archive manager says it is 445MB in size but when I extract the whole folder, the extracted thbgm.dat is only 43.1MB in size. This results in the game's music glitching out shortly after Eika's theme starts playing in the game. For the rest of stage 1, the music is replaced by the sound of static. Then, starting from stage 2, the music stops entirely. I've tried troubleshooting this problem in the following ways: 

-Downloading the ZIP file again. thbgm.dat still doesn't extract successfully.

-Extracting all ZIPs on a Windows 10 computer, Windows 7 computer, my personal laptop (which runs Linux; I thought that might have been the issue so I ran it on Windows as well---with the same results), and my phone. thbgm.dat is still corrupted.

-Running extracted files on a Win10, Win7, and my personal laptop. The glitch I've described still plays out in the same way.

The game runs fine, but it'd be a shame not to hear the music while playing. Another thing of note: the music room is completely corrupted. The only thing that will play is the title theme. Upon finishing the game on normal, the unlocked songs all display as corrupted text and don't play.

extra stage is easy ish

Whenever I try to extract the file I get a data error for thbgm.dat and a CRC error for th17.dat, even after re-downloading. Am I the only one ? I have similar problems with downloading other games from this site as well 

When i try to play the game it just freezes on the loading screen is it my pc or anyone else have that problem?

@KingDeathI think it's a you problem, with the spirits the game is pretty easy. Even more so that 16 and it's releases.

This game is fun but I can only go far as Stage 5 before accidentally ramming into a bullet cause of eyesight on my last life and goodbye 1CC run.

Did multiple retries, used all characters and spirits, and none of it was successful.

I love how half the comments are people talking about the files being corrupted, and the other half is people complaining about danmaku "unfairness". Do you not see the "hell" in "bullet hell"? The Touhou series is generally regarded as one of the most balanced and refined series of BH shooters out there. if you are having problems with the diff, well, that's on you. you either don't have the mentality to understand spell card patterns and the like, or, you just haven't played/practiced enough. my best recommendation is to go and try to beat TH06 on all diffs 'cept luna. once you can do that, start working on 7-10 simultaneously. once you can do all that, congrats, you should now be able to attempt playing this game. Touhou is a series that's meant to be played chronologically. The series requires practice, literally any game with a basic  understanding of game design requires practice to be "good" at. most likely you just haven't played enough, or you have shit perception.

Now as to the people with corrupted files, the people uploading these files do so on their own time, and have no obligation to fix everyone's complaint if the file works for them. the game runs, and overtime the file will be updated by other admins/mods or the same person. Don't expect these files to be golden as soon as they're released on this site. maybe here's an idea, try helping out, and seeing what you can do to improve the file quality, maybe see if you can de-corrupt the files, or give your working version of the game to a staff member here so they can sort it out.

also, ik i'm bad with caps, so, sorry if the caps (or lack thereof) makes it hard to take what i'm saying seriously. i'm too lazy to move my hands in an awkward position bc of hand problems I should probably take the time to fix that tho.

Perhaps I need to stress the fact that I rarely play on Normal anymore. I play this on Hard and Lunatic, mostly. I played Easy to see if you can unlock the Extra with it (which, by the way, you can), and I played Normal with everyone. Otherwise, for fun over completion, I play Hard and Lunatic.

Is anyone going to upload a practice scorefile (100%)?

There is a problem when i start the game ( the patched version )

when i start it, it loads the thcrap patcher, and after it finishes loading it shows an error that says the name's not valid.

Please help?
