Touhou 6: Koumakyou - The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil 　

The description of this download says it contains the Retexture Patch and the Focus-Only Hitbox Patch, but when I download the file and run the game, none of these patches are applied. Am I missing something?

I've downloaded the updated version on brother's laptop again. i run Touhou06.exe and i got this error... well the error is filled with Japanese and some English Text. well there are some english text saying "DLL Injection". i've seen this error a couple of times. is it the game's fault or the creator that uploaded this file or is it the Vsync? well i don't know who causing this error... is there any way to fix this "DLL Injection" error thing? please let me know...

In all new downloads there is now a dx installer aswell that can be used (even if I think that the possibility of someone having 100MB on each of their DLs without knowing is much worse than putting all needed DLLs in the directory for the download, like I recall it previously being)

help, i tried to re texture this game several times but it didnt work. i followed the instructions step by step but the game graphics are still the same

i need some help, game crashes whenever i press start

Where do I find this file?

Well thanks but I already figured it out now... by just overriding the file that I've extracted it by just re-extracting and run Touhou06.exe again and wait for the thcrap from updating the game's patches until the game starts.

does this download already come with vsync, or do I need to install and get vsync working manually?

The game will be capped at most 60 FPS, why tf are you gonna need vsync? This aint a graphics heavy game either...?

The translation has been volatile for years, honestly just look at the wiki if you want to hear the story

it's a matter of how, you can have a more "accurate" translation that is all literal but it'll sound wrong that is the OLD translation (which I do prefer personally) but a more correct one would lose some of that to be written correctly

(more of a general thing and not necessarily in this case)

So it's a choice between a proper(somewhat) translation, where dialogue might lose some of its original meaning, and a translation that most people call "Blind Idiot" translation. Japanese is very different from English so it's no surprise that something just gets lost in the translation, but if you already have a competent translation, why would you switch over to an inferior one?

How to get mods working?

does the retexture pack not work anymore, I remenber using it before but had to reinstall the game and now it dosn't work 

Anyone knows how to install the visible hitbox and re-textures? 

SOLUTION for when your computer's forced virus scanner deletes some essential patch stuff it deems as malware: delete the two vpatch files and the thcrap folder. You'll have to run the original Japanese version unpatched, but if you're desperate, then this is the only way to counteract not being able to run it due to the "malware" files being deleted. Or you know, override your virus scanner if you can. 

i got this odd error when opening eosd. it was able to open yesterday twice when i downloaded it. i attempted to open it today and i got this:

apparently it translates to "DLL injection into game executable failed"

i even deleted everything relating to eosd and then reinstalling it, but to no avail.

is there any way to fix this (yes im on windows 10)

ok it seems to work now with no errors a day later

pretty fun game love the fact that this  exists

does anybody know how to actually set up the retexture thingy? I put everything in but it never happens. what do i have to replace?

Did you by any chance use the game files itself or the installer? If its the files, most likely your antivirus blocks the patch, causing errors. sometimes Just run th06.exe which is the unpatched game. Otherwise try reinstalling the game and run Vpatch.exe

what does this mean? i just played a while ago and when i go back to play it again i couldn't open it anymore.

i can't delete the folder either for redownload cause it says a software or something is using it even though i've closed it already. i can't restart atm since i'm downloading another game.
