*yukari fades away once more, clearing your vision again.* kuyara: “oh my- so you’re saying that youmu went missing on you? that doesn’t sound like her at all.” yuyuko: “yes, she mysteriously went missing on me, but ran yakumo was there, she’s just watching the ghosts. i didn’t wanna disturb her so i went off to search her myself.” ibunde: “might as well continue our adventure! c’mon, kuyara!” *she grabs kuyara again and drags her along again.* kuyara: *chokes* “IBUNDE, LET ME GO, YOUR ONI STRENGTH IS TOO MUCH! IM CHOKING!” ibunde: “someone complaining again?” kuyara: “YEAH IM CHOKING HERE!” ibunde: “how about i lighten my grip a bit!” *she keeps dragging kuyara along but her grip got more stronger. yuyuko and reisen giggle to themselves watching the two.* kuyara: “AAAAAH IM GONNA PASS PUT YKNOW?!” *ibunde spots the misty lake and she thought of something, she then lets go of kuyara, who’s almost gonna pass out, and jumps into the lake.* kuyara: “uuuuu… IBUNDE?!” *the splash was so great because her strength is far too powerful. she was wondering if the culprit was in the waters. she was then dragged out by kuyara who also jumped in.* ibunde: “i wanna do it again, kuyara!!” kuyara: “you’re gonna drown, you never learnt how to swim unlike me!” ibunde: “but i am learning, right now!” *reisen bursts out laughing despite she can’t swim either. nearly anybody knows how to swim.* you: “cmon reisen, let’s go actually find who it is.” reisen: “alright then, i hope kaguya isn’t going impatient.” … … … yukari: “that ibunde girl is onto something. she may know where the culprit is. just let her “stupidity” lead her to something.”

I'm glad you enjoyed it so much that you wrote to thank me! I'm doing my part on making this game and the music more known to other people cuz I like da game. It's nice to see someone enjoy something as much as I do. omg... I had an impact on someone's life! (even if it is very small). Just like how I get to know some music thx to people sharing it out of their passion? I think that's what it is. Ain't no way you play fighting game tooooo!!! AND you know/listen to guilty gear? Didn't expect to see an FGC person here...wait...idek if u play fighting games that often, oh well, but I think I saw somewhere that u did a feature on guilty gear already tho...I think it was Xrd (haven't listened to the osts yet). U know what? I'm calling it Right NOW! the next series is definitely, will be, absolutely, no way mistaking, can't be wrong, must be, have to be GUILTY GEAR!!!! STRIVE (cus u did killer instinct already if im correct, somehow i remembered) Im sorry if I couldn't hold my thoughts, it's too much and now it's overflowing.

Randomly coming across a piece of music from a game I've never heard of has consistently led to some of my most memorable findings. Nonetheless, I was some reluctant to follow up on the piece I found from Melty Blood: Type Lumina, due both to the odd name and my past relatively disappointing experiences with other fighting games (much as I loved specific pieces from Killer Instinct and Guilty Gear, subsequent investigation didn't turn up as much as hoped for). I finally decided to bite the bullet though, and for once I was blown away. Despite the games apparent aesthetic, the music favors a variety of dynamic jazz tunes with creative instrumentation and fair progression, with an overall mood I'd describe as "energetic chill." This doesn't mean the soundtrack is strictly limited to one style though; rock, electronic, and orchestral compositions are scattered through, all maintaining the tone while still being unique. I wasn't able to find much information on the composers for this title, other than the lead composer being someone named Raito; given the cohesiveness of the collection, I wouldn't be surprised to hear he did most of the work himself. This was one of the times I enjoyed a soundtrack so much that I went looking for its distribution. Surprisingly this is one of those situations where the soundtrack never got officially released, and by now it's unlikely to ever be. As an odd consequence, I had a harder time deciding which tracks not to include, given that I wouldn't be able to hear them much going forward without actively looking for them. Hopefully no one minds the larger feature. Next month is another series theme. I'm locked in now, whatever my reservations.

^ I don't usually have anything significant to say about other features, but just this once I want to emphasize how much I appreciated this. Granted I come across quite the variety of things in my searchings, but there's still plenty of soundtracks I'm unlikely to ever encounter normally, specifically with less propagated titles and especially in game genres that I'm less engaged with. I don't imagine I'd ever have heard of Irisu Syndrome on my own, and I really enjoyed it; so thank you!

And it kinda inspired me to do something, which is checking out reddit and see how it was doing (I don't browse there very often). THEN, i found an upcoming album very very recently,... like today, like before now (lol). It seems like a an album of arreangements? I'm not sure tho... It just sounds pretty cool to me, and the artwork is beautiful. Also, I'm posting this to remind myself to check out the album, if I can.. Hitotsume Kozo ‘One-Eyed Priest Boy’ Found throughout Gensokyo but most commonly in dark and forbidden places, these little menaces are reviled throughout the land. Judgmental, mischievous and child-like, these monsters are harmless compared to other races in Gensokyo. Their true power comes from the ability to see the sins of any they see, which they then relay to the Yamas and Hecate for judgment. Hitotsume Kozo are said to resemble miniature monks with bald heads and one eye, though they can be either gender. They are devote Buddhists, and can be pleased with the correct mantra. They are often seen in the company of the Mikari-Baba, who like them is said to have one eye. Both are spirits of misfortune, with the Hototsume Kozo directing the Mikari Baba onto a chosen target. When alone or without a Youkai to protect them, they enjoy startling Humans and Youkai alike with wild pranks. Particularly the wicked, people doing evil, or just those who annoy them. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= “O-oh really? Its uhh, nice to meet you.” The magician leaned forward with a smile he hoped didn’t look too forced. The eyes of the youkai, one still in her hand, focused on him. He was glad to be wearing his cape, for the flowing shape made his frame all the larger… A gloved hand eased behind him, waving to the group watching nearby. It took him a couple tries before they noticed, and a couple more before Cirno seemed to understand. Turning, she held a finger up with a ‘Shhh’. Before creeping along the path. Mystia, who was nearest, turned to Wriggle, repeating the gesture, before following after Cirno with a slow creep. When Rumia turned with a smile to Daiyousei, she only found the other fairy glaring down at her. The understanding nod Rumia gave instead earned her a pat on the head. Oscar meanwhile, desperate to keep the conversation with the weirdo holding her *actual eye* in her hand glanced down at the body beside her. It was an old thing, wrapped in rags and more bone than flesh. “So ahh, what are you doing?” “Scavenging.” “What for?” What people don’t want.” The phrase was singularly unhelpful. Though Agappa-chan turned to a bag at her side. One hand diving into the knockoff Chanel handbag before she raised her open palm. Between her fingers was a couple paperclips, a Bic pen, lighter and a few bullets. Though what their size was, he had no idea. Her other hand slipped into the bag a moment later, pulling out a black book, marked with elaborate designs. Her next few words were tinged with almost a note of pride. “Humans don’t want these anymore. I’ll make them useful.” Cirno glanced over at the weird man they picked up. The broad cape thankfully blocking them from view. Wary blue eyes glanced back to observe the others sneaking behind her. Well, Mystia and Wriggle sneaking. Daiyousei and Rumia looked pretty casual. The team’s fearless leader turned to Oscar Diggs, giving him an unseen salute. “Thank you Osu! Your sacrifice won’t be forgott--” “Freezing frogs. 1507 counts.” The two words were delivered as calmly as possible. But from the scream which ripped from Cirno’s throat, one would have guessed she saw the end approaching. Or a mighty frog god looking for revenge. With a surge of adrenaline, the fairy leaped into the arms of Mystia, barely able to hold her up. The group and Oscar crowded around, staring from behind her. Even Agappa glanced over with passive interest. Seated on a tree branch nearby was a girl. Though hunched over, she looked like the diminutive Cirno would tower over her. Even Rumia was probably taller by a couple hairs. Most of her frame was hidden behind a scroll she held in her hands, leaving only one eye glaring at them visible, and a half-shaven head of silky black hair. “Interrupting an agent of the Yamas. Punishment: fifty hiccups at your next meal.” She said. Rapidly scribbling down the entry onto the scroll. The fear of the group hovering over everyone before the blue baka managed a glare back at the figure. “H-hey, one thou...one thou...that number’s too small! I’ve frozen way more frogs than--” “Oh, a wise guy eh? Well it says here freezing frogs. 1507 counts. Your punishment’s 30 leg cramps at 3 AM. Don't make me make it 31 leg cramps.” “Ha! Then I just won’t sleep!” “...I don’t think that’s possible Cirno...” =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= What next? = Daiyousei seems pretty put together for the group. Maybe she should help? = What is up with these eyes I mean--Uhhh...want to see me make a fairy disappear? = ...Well this seems a good opportunity to leave. Thank you Cirno. *as you watch reisen wander aimlessly around the area, you see a ghost. no, a ghost with a… humanoid body? as you step closer, you realize it’s your suspect: yuyuko saigyouji!* reisen: “huh? that’s just yuyuko?” you: “she’s my #1 suspect right now, she could be the person!” *reisen stands there confused, until she realizes but as she tries to speak again, you’re off to see her. yuyuko finally spots you.* yuyuko: “oh! a human! do you know where’s my gardener? youmu konpaku?” you: “i was kinda gonna ask the same but whatever, you’re one of the suspects to me for this incident.” yuyuko: “dear i-“ ???: “YUYUKO?!” *it was ibunde, with kuyara being dragged by the clothes.* kuyara: “but this might be a bad idea, y’know… IBUNDE? THE ONE WHO GETS OVERWORKED? and damn, you pull so hard, no wonder why you have oni strength.” (side note: ibunde has the strength of an oni and kuyara has the speed of a tengu.) ibunde: “oh shuddup kuyara! it isn’t so bad! yuyuko!!” *she dashes off and lets go of kuyara as she does so, landing her on the grass. kuyara’s glasses being held on in case they don’t drop. (even tho her glasses can’t fly off) yuyuko chuckles at this.* ibunde: “s-sorry! just kuyara being kuyara, but anyway, didn’t you say that you weren’t the suspect of this incident?” yuyuko: “yes dear, im not putting any contributions, just finding youmu~! i wonder where she is!” *now you know, pretty easy now, right?* … … … yukari: “well of course, yuyuko isn’t evil. my gaps are now taking me everywhere, so now, there’s no exact location, look everywhere you can.” the official trello to the story is out!
